Frankly, I don't believe in Claremont about this, I like to think of this as an Ace in the hand... or else, what a crappy idea.
Maddy was supposed to be a reborn Jean all along and Claremont wanted that.
Claremont would not pair Scott with a woman who was identical to Jean in all aspects. Everybody mistook her for Jean....
Precisely.
I guess this will happen sooner than expected.
About that:
Jean holding Scott's optic blasts only with her TK was supposed to be a stunt only Phoenix Jean could do. It was even addressed during the X-Factor era.
However, I remember from...
And boy, what an ass we are talking about... lol
Is it just me or did you guys also feel that Jean saying "Oh, Scott. What did they do to you...?" line was also some sort of meta language?
I don't know if it is a big deal, but JDW liked a reply I posted at a Rosenberg tweet.84683
20 years. A lifetime...
Hell, give them a chance.
You are absolutely right.

Roger Cruz, actually.
I just found it, UXM #376. It was a flashback.
The last "real time" one would be on that issue where he freaks out with Jean's wearing her old green Phoenix costume. Bachalo drew it... UXM #355....
Yeah, I think you're right. I remember it now.
It was a flashback, though...
I don't think it's a big deal. Shows she's not single but wants to keep her identity.
I would definitely laugh at it
I really felt at sometimes that this would NEVER happen again. I take your words as mine.
Besides that, I think she is more known nowadays as just plain Jean Grey than Marvel Girl.
'Nuff said. For now.
Scott's hand wouldn't grab half of it. Wow.
Yes, I remember that, well... you could kiss your Grandma like that... lol
Like i said:
"* Not counting alternate timelines, doppelgangers, teen versions, dead x alive reunions (Yes, I mean PR #5), flashbacks, etc..."
Technically Scott was dead, or briefly alive....
If remember correctly, this is their first real in-panel kiss* in almost two decades. I don't remember any since the Seagle/Kelly run. Gosh, it has been too long.
Jean walking from the flames was...
Extermination #5 left me wondering if Jeen (and Adult Jean eventually) knew what Teen Cable was up to: bringing Cyke back.
THAT'S what really pissed me up
Madelyne was supposed to have a "soul" and at least some degree of freewill thanks to that Phoenix Force portion Cocoon Jean had rejected.
These clones lacked authonomy. They looked beautiful, btw.
