To me stiff implies not fluid. Could be a chunk of dialogue, or a plot device... It's likely not pacing. More likely than not, it's not seeming natural or realistic in some way. ...
I agree. Keep the feedback coming. It's definitely helpful to see. I'm postulating that "not bad" means "good".
I'd take that as it is and fix. Double check perspectives and anatomy issues/proportion throughout and correct where needed. Ensure the figure work is strong, the characters pop with clean lines. ...
