Greg Pak's writing this and it saves Warpath from limbo? Sold.
X-Men Season One was good. Anyone who hasn't read it should check it out.
The thing I'm not sure about is Phoenix. Done to death is an understatement there, but I guess Phoenix always comes back...
Reminds me of Major League, where they intentionally try to put the worst team out there to lose on purpose (Also, 'Who're these #@$!ing guys?' was the first thing I said when I saw the cover).

I certainly hope not, but my favorite characters tend not to survive these events. After what happened to Cyclops and Madrox, I don't know if I could take another of my favorites jobbing to a cloud....
Not exactly what I was hoping for, but I can live with it. I'm fine with Blue, but I'm a sucker for anything Original X-Men. Gold I'm a bit more 'meh' about, but I'll give it a shot.
Also, still...

So not only did it undo Whedon's twist, it undid an essential part of the origin altogether. Like I needed more reasons to hate Schism.
Useless Trivia: X-Factor #39 was my first ever comic book way back when.
Let's see where it goes, but the apparent lack of Sinister is a disappointment.
Stan Lee almost always had Spidey lose the first round whenever he fought a villain.
As for Jean, yeah, seems she was just there so they could get the Phoenix saga in there, then quickly shuffle...
My guess is he's the one who busts out Red Skull. Hijinks will ensue.
