I usually love black and white and almost always prefer the works in hte way the creator originally developed them, but for some reason I really preferred the Scholastic color versions on...
While you can read Circles as a stand alone, it's best enjoyed reading it after Volumes 2-5, and getting familiar with the characters and "universe."
