Say it again for those in the back!
I'll continue to support the traditional floppy market for Superman titles as long as it's around, because I find engaging with the community as a story unfolds...
This thread is chock-full of interesting takes and ideas—some good, some questionable—but at the end of the day the biggest factor seems to be that media consumption habits have changed drastically...
I'm looking to dive into a superhero epic, and I was wondering if Wolfman/Perez's New Teen Titans holds up today and is worth reading.
FWIW, I've read lots of Claremont's X-Men and have no issues...
I found out recently that Lemire plans to end Black Hammer next year. Such a shame... there's so much potential for more stories to be told. He said he has one more in mind that he'd like to return...
I'm so excited for A&A to return.
How does this series stack up to some of the work Mark Russel has been putting out at Ahoy Comics (My Bad, Second Coming, Wrong Earth)? Looking for another optimistic, lighthearted, goofy read...
Man, trying to complete this run is going to be impossible. Virtually all issues between 100 and 250 are going for $10 a pop online, and that's when they even show up at all.
Luckily dollar bins...
The collected editions market has continued to grow over the years, especially in the last few, but I’m not sure what the state of floppies is. I’m not here to suggest floppies are dying off—in fact,...
I'll admit that I haven't really kept up with the Avengers at all in recent years. Has Aaron's run been good enough to read in trade paperbacks for dirt cheap from eBay, at the very least? I'd like...
I'd love to see Jim Zub or Kelly Thompson take a crack at the main title after Aaron.
Fully funded so quickly, too. Good for them. I pledged. Curious how this'll go.
This is my take as well. I'm down to give anything with his name on it a shot at this point.
Yeah, this issue was lots of fun. I had my LCS add it to my pull list.
Looking forward to getting #322 at my LCS tomorrow.
WOW! I had no idea these were being reprinted as paperbacks. I've got some orders to place... is there anywhere that these are being announced? I've found a few on Amazon.

I think Bunn's run has been great. X-O Manowar has not.
After reading the article I'm feeling positive on the whole, but I can understand the disappointment that's bound to be produced by his departure. What he's done for the x-line has been nothing short...
He is? That'd be great but this is the first I'm hearing this.
I have been interested in giving Judge Dredd a go. Is it worth starting from the very first Case Files volume, or should I start with Vol 5 and proceed forwards as some people suggest?
Cool! Shadowman is Valiant's best ongoing, IMO.
I haven't read his Avengers (and after this thread... probably won't), but I will certainly stand by this. His Punisher MAX, Thor, and The Goddamned are all excellent as far as I'm concerned.
Thank you for the responses. I will continue pulling Zub's Tech-On #1 for now and wait until Aaron is off the title, I guess, before considering pulling another ongoing.
Yep. I don’t know why I mentioned both, I guess because both involve the Avengers and the latter was fresh on my mind after reading.
