I don't really understand the compulsion to remove Star Wars or event sales from the total anyway. These companies publish these books, they deserve to be counted.
You can't possibly know that.
You're dead wrong. Floppy numbers are on the rise. Why choose to be ignorant?
Used books do not count in the numbers I posted, and it says how much the overall digital market made. There's literally no way to argue with those numbers, unless you're just determined for some...
Yeah, looks real bad for comics.

I said the same thing a couple years ago. Just because the individual issue is sold in multiple formats now doesn't mean it's selling any less. All reports are that comics are a billion dollar...
I liked it. Great art.
People who aren't obsessed with hoping the medium fails because it isn't producing enough books they personally like can.
Because the industry as a whole is making millions of dollars more every year. What is with fetishization of being a fan of a dying industry people have? There is literally no evidence that comics...
People with opinions like this don't care that half of the magic of comics is the art. They might as well just read novels. The artist needs to opportunity to show interesting things in interesting...
Don't tell me who I'm sensitive to.
So let's see how the story plays out before judging it as just shock value.
Yes, let's limit what stories can told. That will make for better writing in comics!
This is a perfectly acceptable storyline.
They are millions than they were in the year or two prior to the reboot, and that doesn't even include digital which would make them much higher.
Wrong. Sales still much higher than before. What you mean to say is "I don't like it."
They did create a new gay character - Alan Scott of Earth 2.
Well it's easy to spend other people's money. The new Lobo has been published for over a year, it's had its time to catch on.
So if you enjoy the writer and the book, why wouldn't you want to read more issues? Wouldn't it be better to get 12 issues of a series you like than 0 issues? You don't make a lick of sense.
Or they think Flash isn't a strong enough property to support two iterations at the same time and they'd cannibalize each other's sales to the point where neither book would be performing well. Or...
So people are just going to take this as gospel truth? That's hilarious. I don't believe a word of it.
Yes, because publishers usually think up what makes the most sense and immediately disregard it.
We Tim Drake fans speak for ourselves.
Well now there's two versions for people who enjoy either or both. There can't be anything wrong with that.
