I mean, he's not bad, but his style is getting really stale for me. It's a whole lot of "set 'em up, knock 'em down." So much of the passion he used to have is gone

Am I the only one who feels Johns' work is getting very formulaic?

DC should hire Jeff Parker to co-write Justice League with Johns. He's doing great on this title

my biggest problem with the pilot as a whole was just that there wasn't any grit to it… yeah John had the trench coat and the accent and the five o'clock shadow, but it felt very much like a staged...

probably a smart choice. she's pretty to look at but her character was the least interesting part of the pilot

Ultimate Spidey. it's hard to make comic deaths feel impactful and emotional nowadays but Bendis nailed it in that one

IMO, Parker is doing just as good a job (if not better in some ways) than Johns
