I'm also on a first-time through, got inspired to take the deep-dive in X-history by Hickman's new stuff. Currently at the introduction of Nimrod, and New Mutants have been getting some crazy stories...
I loved this so much! As for whose fault the fight is, IMO everyone was acting dumb in a typical case of comics needing to force two groups of good guys to fight for no good reason. I can overlook it...
Another great issue! Krakoa never felt more like Game Of Thrones.
I love Hickman but he definitely has his faults, and this X-Force run totally make up for what Hickman's stories are lacking....
I definitely want to read some Conan comics once I finish the Robert Howard stories. With every story I finish, I find myself Googling the title to find all the cool artwork depicting scenes from it,...
Going through Robert E. Howard's complete Conan The Cimmerian tales. This is a great mythos to get lost in. Although I've also been reading The Witcher short stories at the same time and I keep...
Hickman's new X-Men run has me doing a deep-dive in X-Men history, been blowing through the Claremont era. Most recent reads:
Alpha Flight v1 013. Guardian is (seemingly) dead, his wife is...
A day later and somehow my only thought is that I desperately want Hickman to start using Deadpool in his X-stories, because as cool as this storyline is, it's totally rife for some meta-mockery. I...
If this is the same Xavier that Charles Soule resurrected in his recent run on Astonishing X-Men, he's definitely evil.
Also I can't get over how much he looks like The Maker in his new outfit.
Family: Man stabbed 17 times after telling homeless man not to camp in neighborhood...
Stephen King's new release The Outsider was pretty good.
The Twelve, by Justin Cronin. Finished this after months of starting and stopping. An underwhelming sequel to the amazing book The Passage. Hopefully the final book in the trilogy makes up for it.

I finally finished the 10 book series Malazan: Book Of The Fallen.
Welp, now there's nothing better to do than re-read Wheel Of Time, I guess.
This was a million times better than how Bendis handled having a character come out to Jean.
Currently writing a new novel of my own, so have been sticking to re-reads rather than things I need to truly focus on. Currently halfway through four different classics.
Survivor by Chuck...
Color me hyped, Aaron is the last writer I really care about who stuck around post-Secret Wars. Shame Ewings books can;t seem to sell, I miss Ultimates but oh well. Here's hoping Aaron gives the...
I have zero familiarity with the original Wild Storm run, but I just got into the current Wild Storm and Mike Cray books, and they are hands down the coolest thing DC has coming out currently. Feels...
Bumping a super duper old thread because I just binge read the final 12 issues of this series and loved it. Great book from the start, highly recommend. So many comics come with cool concepts then...
A few issues behind in Invincible but I'll vote for it anyways because it's a freaking LEGEND ENDING! RIP IN PEAS
In no particular order... Low, Southern Bastards, Walking Dead.
Exactly. It obviously isn't the best comic, but it's the one I'm most invested in.
Only picked this book up at the store from the cover and then the premise was too cool to resist. This was an amazingly fun read about a colorful technopocalyptic dragon world. It reads like a...
Been on a re-read kick lately. Things I finished over the last few weeks:
Choke by Chuck Palahniuk
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut.
Atrocity Exhibition by J. G. Ballard
The Stranger by...
Interesting issue. Has Kirkman ever commented on Fear The Walking Dead TV characters being added to the comic? This would be the point to introduce some of them, if there ever would be one.
I feel like that is in our future, especially with these terrorist attacks using vehicles lately. But... I don't know, I love driving. I get all my coolest thoughts when driving, like showering.
There's a J G Ballard story about a man who tries to keep driving his own car after self driving cars take over and the social ostracizing he suffers for not going with the program. I plan to drive...
Valeria Richards, daughter of Richard Reed and Sue Storm of Fantastic Four. Probably because she reminds me of my own daughter.
