Actually I think it's based on Voltron.
While this is hardly an invalid criticism, part of what makes a minority persecuted is that they're treated harsher for the same crimes a non-minority faces. The fact that they get singled out while...
They listen to Twitter?
You're not wrong, but that doesn't really make it good writing.
The problem I have with that is that they're using the annoying US comic tropes in their writing.
Wow, this really says why writers like to torture Spider-Man.
I think you're reaching when you say "different reality".
That doesn't make too much sense since he exists in a less fantastic part of the Marvel Universe. You would have to really up his artillery in order to make this work like giving him rocket...
They do sometimes depending on the writer.
It's a question I ask myself whenever they try to portray Peter quitting being Spider-Man as a bad thing.

And then Kindred comes out and kills MJ and Aunt May, and he'll be forced to consider whether or not he should make a deal with Mephisto (or some other...
It's mostly that sometimes, the heroes and other characters can feel like isolated. Even if they had friends and families before they became superheroes, they automatically lose those afterwards.

I'm just saying because the Mods will likely move us to the Wonder Woman forum when they read this.
This last part I can't help but laugh at.
