Sometimes I think back to the times when I started reading Spidey (around 2012) and how much has changed since then.
I started with Big Time and then slowly made my way back, while also reading...
RIP to the Legend.
As I was reading, I started thinking about this.
What are some of your all-time favorite stories for Spidey's rogue gallery?
Doctor Octopus - Octopus and Owl Gang War (Spectacular Spider-Man...
Understandable. I had no idea it was even a comic story since I wasn't reading them back then. I just assumed Maximum Carnage was a video game only.
It was always a story I really wanted to like.
This question came to mind while I was reading through some of my favorite classic stories.
I started to think about some of the stories I've avoided giving another read.
First story that came...
I have a question about the Goblin Serum.
As shown in the OP, the old handbook says none of the Goblins had any Superhuman powers.
Most of Green Goblin's early showdowns consist of him...
Always loved his work. When I started to get into comics, he was always one of the main artists that always stood out to me. Timeless art.
RIP to him.
Funny thing about Maximum Carnage is that there were many things I enjoyed about the story. I guess my biggest issue was that it dragged on longer than it should've. By the time I got to around issue...
I just randomly had this thought as I read through "The Name of the Rose" (Web of Spider-Man #84-89) story. I haven't seen too many good things said about this one, but under all of the...
Foreigner was one of my fav Spidey villains. Last story I read was a Spectacular one where he gave up and turned himself in or something.
Haven't read those stories in awhile, but he seemed like a...
I dunno why, but to me, Apocalypse never really seemed as powerful as he should be in the stories I read.
Maybe I haven't read the right stories.
Reading Life in the Mad Dog Ward again.
This story is just fun.
I think one of the reasons why I enjoyed Sins Past was because I was never really attached to Gwen as a character. Having said that, I can totally understand how something like would taint the...
I hope the series continues on the new Disney platform. I'd hate for this series to end.
Revenge of the Green Goblin is definitely up there.
Terrible news. RIP to Stan the Man.
RIP Stan the Man. One of the greatest creators to ever walk this Earth. You've helped define my childhood with memorable superheroes that I still enjoy today. Your legacy is eternal in this world.
Congrats on that. I've dipped in various eras, but never read straight from beginning to end. That is unbelievable.
When you're really into Spidey, though, it's hard to put the books down.
Thanks for making this thread.
Kraven's Last Hunt was one of the first stories suggested to me when I signed up to CBR six yrs ago. Honestly, I didn't know much about Kraven at this point, so I...
-The fight with Hobby in ASM #251
-The fight with Green Goblin in PP: SSM #44
-Spider-Man Vs Firelord
-The fight with Ock from Spec #78-79
-The fight with Foreigner from Spec #129
-The Sinister...
You know, I wasn't aware Valeria was so intelligent. I mean, since Reed is her father, it's not too shocking.
I guess I just haven't read enough F4.
Yeah, you're right. Peter David's #266-267 is in one of them. I was mainly thinking about his Spectacular stuff not being collected. His appearances in ASM seemed to be sporadic. After the Commuter...
None of Peter David's stuff is in the Epics, unfortunately.
To be fair, that list is only taking Super Heroes into consideration. I find it hard to believe Doom wouldn't be ahead of the majority of that list.
