I picked up Poison Ivy to see those Jessica Fong covers. The writing seemed to fall off after the original 6 issues but those cool and creepy covers kept me hooked.

The book needs to have a hook right in the first issue. Make Zee do something immoral or out of character. Make her angry, push her to her limits. This is black label so it won't be canon anyway but...

She has to. You shouldn't hope. You should expect to see her get into a brawl. That's essential to superhero comics and I'm angry that we don't usually get that in Zatanna comics.
