5YL Legion is goddamn fantastic. Enough so that I would gladly purchase any edition of it, despite having it custom bound.

Flicker Fade, that was very helpful, thanks! I may pick up one or two of the All-Star volumes. Glad to see another Legion fan as well, I've read a lot of the old stuff in the Showcase volumes. I...
They've got volumes of All-Star Comics, The Spirit, Kamandi, Sandman, Wonder Woman, LoSH, New Teen Titans, Blackhawks, Sgt. Rock, World's Finest, Flash, Challengers of the Unknown, Metal Men, Plastic...
Anybody have any opinions on the DC Archives? Hamilton Books has a number of 'em at around $15 each. I'd love some recommendations, as the only older/SA DC stuff I've really read is Doom Patrol and...
They came out quite lovely, I've got three more volumes at H&R - volume 3 finishes Levitz' run and volumes 4 and 5 are the Giffen issues of Five Years Later.
Can't wait to read it all again.
the collection slowly grows!

Got my first bind back from Herring & Robinson - the first 25 issues of Shade. I'm in love. Think I'm going to do some different spines for other runs, though; I could see this style getting a little...
Surprised it took this many posts. Giffen rocks.
This. I've been getting rid of everything I'm not in love with.
I hope not. I just sent the first 25 issues to get bound.
I haven't had any books bound yet, but have been prepping a bunch of runs for it. Hoping to send out Superior Spider-Man and the following Amazing run next week. Before that, however, I'd love to get...
Some here might crucify you for this. Even though you're on point.
Invisibles was amazing, and not nearly as incomprehensible as some make it out to be. I read a few issues twice on my first read-through, though. I completely understand why people would dislike it,...
I think it's pretty good for what it was. It's just New Mutants 98 and two minis by Waid and Nicieza, but Kelly actually built off of some stuff that takes place there.
Lol, it was Milligan himself. I had read the series in singles, so I wasn't spoiled, but that really should have been at the end of the book.
Johns' run is alright. It's nothing spectacular but it's certainly not bad. Austen's run, as expected, is bad, but it's only 8 (?) issues, not a huge investment if you do want to read all of v3.
The Library Editions and similar-sized hardcovers are the stunning. The Hellboy books, along with The Best of Milligan and McCarthy, are probably some the best on my shelf.
The Legion in general needs more collections. I know Levitz & Giffen's initial run got two deluxes, but there's so much more material that deserves collecting.
Would love this, it was one of the cornerstone series of Dark Horse back in the day, and some of the best of comics in the 90's. Make it happen!
Ancient Aliens.
My mistake, I think my brain just rejects the idea of Marvel being fair with their pricing. Thanks for the correction.
I liked McFarlane's work on PAD's Hulk.
Adjective-less Spider-Man, to me, is a waste of an omnibus slot. Poorly written material regardless of how you feel about the art. If anyone here buys it,...
I hope everyone reading Multiversity for the first time enjoys it. Reading it monthly was a real treat - I must have read every issue about 4 times during the wait for the next issue. Pax Americana...
Have you ever read it? I never thought DKSA was as bad as people say it is (I actually enjoyed it). I didn't read it when it originally came out though - I read it like, 3 years ago.
I only started reading comics regularly (month-to-month) after 2007 or so, but Avengers vs X-Men. Wasted years of build up from the Messiah trilogy, in my opinion. Bendis taking over the main books...
