Propaganda plays a big part in it too. We saw in Mutant First Strike and Children of the Vault some of what Orchis was doing to pump hate and fear of mutants to the general public.

And essentially giving Nimrod his blessing to kill whichever mutants oppose Orchis, which he knows the X-Men will.

Yeah this was a beautiful issue. The focus was really on the team and very little of the AU's. Their combined speech was lovely.

Nah Wrongslide was sweet. The heart to heart he had with Sunspot in X-Men Red was really touching imo. But I do hope this paves the way for Santo's return.

Yeah it should be a bit more on the purple/lavender side. Sometimes the glow of her creations will give a slight pink reflection but purple is ideal.
