Impressive but doesn't capture it for me. And too cluttered.

And now the lost RB Silva. Marvel does not care about this product anymore.
Back to 0. My wallet feels thicker already.
Spin off ideas:
LAX or West Coast NYX
LOL
The real truth.
The ending is just so uncoordinated and frankly seems disrespectful to Hickman/Fans/era itself. You couldn't have spent another 3-6 months mapping it out better?
I wanted to mention that X-Men Forever is being collected as a volume of Immortal X-Men.
NOTHING MAKES SENSE.
...
I was not expecting this to a QC pic since Cyclops was on the first half. Cute picture, though DNA is cartoony. Glad to see Emma in one of her better and era appropriate uniforms. This is another...
Yeah. My interest went up in this poorly written exit with that scene.
I've been an advocate of Duggan but the timeline of Fall of X has be horrendous. I blame editorial perhaps most of all. What a disservice to a beloved era.
Is there source for the Fiege/Krakoa...
This is the first issue (4/5) in the mini that stuff happens. The real downfall is not putting Pepe Larraz on this book. The lackluster art makes it hard to believe this is a series event. I like...
This was the best issue of the series. I don't love side quest like this but Foxe is a great writer. But only gripe/confusion is they never appear in Rise to stop Xavier... so... what?
There seems to be some gripes about the episode, but I was still snacking on it and enjoying. I was surprised to see Xavier return so quickly but I'm rolling with it. Lifedeath was not exactly...
I wish this would get released in trade.
How is he alive after Dark X-Men?
Year Two is definitely the best of his X-Men run. I enjoyed the second Gala as well - though weakest overall.
She's the current pet character of the company and they are using the X-Men as a way to keep continuing to grow the character.
Duggan's run started stronger than it finished. His best stuff was Marauders; people complained it was a Emma/Kitty book but as an Emma fan that didn't mind me. X-Men has been a mixed bag and...
He and Lobdell were a great team. FN was a bit better of writer in my opinion. I wish they let him play on Krakoa more.
I think it is more powerful to let it stand. Let the deaths be felt and then bring him or anyone else back via an episode on mutant circuits and resurrections in Season 2.
Updated to include Nature Girl. While I think she went off the deep end I didn't hate the activist route either so I put her in negligent.
TBH.. I am not familiar enough or invested enough...
Not feeling it either.
My assessment based on a mix of attention plus character development:
Shined:
Cypher
Apocalypse
Exodus
Sinister
Mystique
Destiny
Sebastian Shaw
Give me LV's Iceman please.
It is. I was hoping for a return in the event but its not looking good.
Yeah. X-Men97 is highlighting how lacking this finish is. Shameful.
