Plus Gladiator strength level is dependent on his confidence. Seeing THANOS half-beaten, bleeding, and knowing there's a "flaw in Thanos physiology" must be a hell of a confidence booster.

Asmus is a writer. Although I'm sure I would enjoy his style more than the style of Gold's artist.

When last seen, in W&TXM v2 I think, he was the White King at the Hellfire Club, but I guess the writer and characters won't remember that (I can't blame them, W&TXM v2 was really weak).
