So the book is getting derailed by Waid's event, but it's still written by King

And she's not even fighting her own villain,...
I'm very glad Storm got her powers back by episode 6. After so many pathetic showings in movies and cartoons, it feels like she's been powerless for decades.
The only demonic story for Kurt I want to see is Nightcrawler's Inferno.
Whaaaat? That's a great pitch.
I don’t mind the show's pacing too much. I'm only worried that with it going so fast they'll run out of good X-Men stories by season 3.
Nah, he knew what he was doing, being important excited...
Yes, but he wasn't responsible for the genocide on Genosha in the comics. It was his nephew Donald.
There's no way a queer creator would kill off the only queer character on the team.
Top talent are mostly straight male writers who didn't grow up reading WW, so they don't have the same attachment to her as with the male heroes.
Claremont had her do it while being totally naked. So it is her power somehow

It was definitely not an image inducer with Storm. She literally transformed her clothes with lighting. And she can do it in the comics as well.
If it's true that it's supposed to be A-list creators, then Snyder and Ewing are the most likely candidates, I think. Could be Aaron too, but I don't want him anywhere near WW.
I don't think the 70's costumes are any more jarring here than using the 90's costumes and characters while adapting Claremont's stories.
Eh? She could always transform. Since the first episode of the original series.
The episode is not one of the best, but that Storm scene? One of the most epic moments ever.
I think Priscilla is the best candidate for a movie protagonist. She's easy to make sympathetic and her Jekyll and Hyde thing is a classic. Maybe once she enters public domain some indie company can...
If they're doing Vulcan of all people, I'm sure we'll see Rachel sooner or later.
Maybe they should put bondage on covers more often :p
Damn, they're really serving us with fabulous female villains. Maybe next season we'll finally get Selene.
Also, there was another reference to the clay origin, which I appreciate.
Yeah, the grifters are gonna love this one.
The issue is decent enough (I especially like the part with Cassie), but how am I supposed to take Sovereign seriously as a villain? Let alone as a Joker/Luthor-level threat? He's just a pretentious...
I doubt he'd want to. I mean his writing for WW speaks for itself. Waid is also unlikely. Out of the A-listers I think Snyder is the only one who expressed an interest in writing her.
Bleeding Cool claims it's going to be A-list creators, so I wouldn't worry about Howard or Phillips.
Osira can work for sloth, since she wants to achieve world peace without any effort, but by just taking away people's free will.
King isn't exactly known for his originality. Like that time he (unintentionally?) ripped off Joe Kelly's terrible Superman/WW crossover.
