I buy the volumes of Judge Dredd that are released physically in the US -- mainly the softcovers from IDW and the larger dimensions TPBs from 2000AD, along with the occasional hardcover from...
What is this referencing? I am out of the loop. Thanks
This is fascinating to me, as I've tried every format there is and like having options. This lineup of creators is an awesome start.
I wish they had one more format, an oversized hardcover which...
if the shelf aint bendin youre just pretendin!
I look forward to your thread every week, even when I am not buying any Image books that week. I think you do a good job with it and I like to see what other people voted for and why. I hope you...
Does your friend like the fantasy genre at all, or just sci-fi? If yes, both of those examples have twists and turns and strong female leads so I would recommend Isola, also from Image

I've read a handful of books from the poll, and even though I love writers like Waid and Aaron personally I thought none of them were anywhere near as good as Hickman.
The closest thing to...
I'm the person who voted "other". I was really taken with the 2018 annual but I don't want to say why due to spoilers.

It's not just the solicit, it's inside the issue too. This is because it's a remake of a Kirkman comic from Top Cow back in the day. Now it's with Skybound instead. I've read both versions and I...
I thought the story had some good moments but overall the book is mainly worth buying for the art.
Just in case you're not aware, this is the third piece in an ongoing Klaus story that has...
I've run into this same decision before. After flipping through them at the store, I decided that I prefer pure pencil art to black & white (inked) art. I don't know if they are using the art from...
I'm just gonna say it, Die Die Die is better than the walking dead, outcast, and oblivion song. (But not Invincible).
I am into the cartoonish ultra violence of Die x3 for sure but I do wish Kirkman...
Your reply surprises me. You consider JMS a comics guy?
I think what you're asking for is what they delivered by bringing in a writer as great as JMS to work on Superman. He both did the "real"...
I liked it. I upgraded to the Absolute edition in fact.
Having said that, I think I prefer Azz when he works with other artists that fit his takes more -- and vice versa for Lee. The Luthor book...
I agree, this book was a pleasant surprise. I liked a lot of the non- superman family pieces as well (like Firestorm).
Only for safety reasons, not for stability of holding the actual books and displaying them
In the recent storyline I mentioned (Green Lantern) his wife is Ursa.
I was reading a recent Green Lantern where the Corps discovers a planet that General Zod, Ursa, and their son (Christopher Kent) are ruling. It's a great read and well worth it for any Superman fans....
That's a bummer. I thought both arcs were fun.
This made me laugh

For me, I think the main reason that Donner's Superman 1 and Snyder's Man Of Steel are so infinitely rewatchable is just that they are so meticulously made.
Their budgets are so huge and everyone...
Deathstroke,
A) thank you for the heads up because I also read the first two volumes month to month and had no idea there was a third story online.
B) thank you for reaching out to the creator...
I voted for Savage Dragon which was another great issue. My #2 pick would've been Aphrodite, is anyone else reading this? You have to see the art inside, it is so cool.
