The Soviet stuff was the best part of that run!
Pistols at dawn, DD. ;)
I'm curious about your thoughts on Batman murdering so many people though.
It makes sense, but it's stupid and illogical as all hell.
It's a slap in the face to struggling musicians who work their asses off day after day and can't get a record deal, but someone who isn't even writing her own music can make millions off what some...
If they did that, then how could they dumb down their product to make them more marketable to movie studio executives and non-comic reading fans who are too lazy to care about continuity?
For starters, she doesn't even write her own music so she loses any artistic credibility there.
The music she releases is just repetitive electronic beats with juvenile lyrics (but not in a fun...
I know who Rihanna is. I just wish I didn't.
Metropolis with Coast City was a close second.
It should be good while also respecting the comics that came before it. That universe isn't a sandbox you made yourself, but rather one that was created by people a long time ago that you now have...
It's a great cover. The Simon and Garfunkel original is better, but this one is still pretty awesome!
Mrs. Robinson - The Lemonheads
Constant restarts don't give me any reason to be invested in the story. Why should I care if Batman survives this week's issue if the universe he's in will potentially be gone by the end of the year...

This is pretty tough. For me, it's really a toss up between the original and Donner versions.
Mustaine, Hetfield, King, and Ian need to hang it up. Every major thrash metal record released in the past 20 years has sucked hard.
Absolutely Needed:
Superboy
Cosmic Boy
Saturn Girl
Lightning Lad
Possible Extras:
Sun Boy
I don't buy into the notion that being beholden to past portrayals is inherently a bad thing. On one hand, one could argue that wanting characters to remain static stifles character growth and gives...
Looks like I'm a few days late for this thread. ;)
