Big Damn Sin City. Wife got it for me for Christmas. Just finished “The Man in Yellow.” First time reading this and I’m just blown away. The art, the stories all of it. I can’t believe it took me so...
Rise and Fall of the Batmen Omnibus. Through the first 3 story arcs and loving it, especially the Batman/Wayne - Batwoman/Kane element.
Reading the same now, just finished the Doom stories and loving it. Wieringo's art is wonderful also. Also just finished Brubaker's Marvels Project which was amazing. Love WWII Cap stories done in...
Picked up OOP War of Kings Omni for way too much on Ebay. Since Marvel seems to announce new reprints weekly I am racing to get that read and re-sell before it loses value from a reprint. Finished...
Started East of West and loving it!
Where do you see that? CGN still has them all for next week and they are (usually) accurate and change quickly on delay.
Just finished Vol 2 of Busiek's Avengers which was great. 11 issues through the New Warriors Omnibus that I just picked up and loving it! Should have that read by the time my Journey in Mystery...
Slow the last couple weeks. Amazing Spider Man Omnibus 2, Flash by Johns Omnibus 2 and grabbed World War Hulk Omnibus before it disappears (huge Hulk fan). Also picked up Gotham Central Omnibus at...
It's more like conventional TPB paper. Decent thickness and quality but not as glossy as an Epic. Not enough to skip the books, at least for me.
Wife got me both Byrne Man of Steel HC for my birthday. Haven't read these since I bought them new as single issues when I was 12 in 1986. I wish they were oversized and better paper but it's some...
As of right now, CGN has both Excalibur covers available and the McLoed New Mutants cover available also. They came back in stock there.
The standard cover still shows for sale on CGN. Although it may take an extra week to arrive, it's available there right now. Even if it's a week delayed consider it like a pre-order, you'll get a...
Finally getting a chance to read the full Infinity Guantlet Omnibus. Once I finish that I will have the greatest reading experience through January when all my mutant books are ordered and arrive -...
Ok so I was stumbling around on cheapgraphicnovels.com today and came across JSA Omnibus Vol 2 available for sale. It’s been out of stock forever and now here it is available for purchase. I ordered...
Yes everything about IST sucks, trying to order and nonstop errors on checkout then things disappear out of stock while I recover from the errors of their terrible site. I am done with them.
After reading Green Arrow by Grell Omnibus all the way through (so good) I have decided to finally knock out Thor by Walt Simonson. Have only read the first few issues before so starting over at the...
For the Green Arrow Grell Omni on CGN - They've been selling it for weeks. I ordered mine on 8/21. I don't know why they got it so much earlier than IST, maybe the multiple DC distributors?
Finishing the back half of the new printing of the Flash by Johns Omnibus. Never read it before and although it isn't as good as Johns' Green Lantern (so far) it's pretty well done. Love the Scott...
Green Arrow by Grell has been 9/2 for a while on IST updated release schedule. CGN had it available for purchase last week so I ordered one, no idea if it will ship before 9/2 or not.
It is the same contents as the Batman Inc Absolute except it also includes Batman: The Return one shot by Morrison which is only in print in floppies I believe.
Green Arrow has shown as 9/2 on their release schedule for a long time which is what Amazon says also.
IST says 9/2 for Green Arrow. I was shocked when CGN sent me a wish list update for it yesterday.
I didn't actually hear the announcement and his line about "not like the X-Men" may mean no chance but isn't X-Factor completely devoid of Omnibus? That would be amazing...
Finishing off Spider Man vs Venom Omnibus (Maximum Carnage for the first time) then should be ready to dive in to Amazing Spider Man Vol 1 Omnibus when it arrives!
You definitely should get at least UXM Vol 2. In fact, the first volume ends a few issues before a huge climax in one of the greatest stories arcs of all time. I've already read it before and I am...
