Thanks for asking so nicely. This is a thread about the comic after all, so I have no obligation to, but changed it anyway.
Basically, he wanted Mark to have as many traumatic things as possible happening simultaneously and I guess wanted to prove a point that superheroes are just as susceptible to everyday human dangers.
I'm actually hoping they skip that altogether. Kirkman's explanation for including it never made sense to me.
EOS Luther faces off against peak Dara in an uninhabited daytime city street. Win is by KO, and morals are on. Who takes it?
Will you still be saying that when Conquest comes along ;)
Composite anime/light novel feats for both. Mugino starts on top of a 100 meter tall building with a 300 meter circumference. Tanya is airborne and Mugino can see her.
Who wins?
616 composite Sue takes on comic Eve. They battle in a desert. Win is by KO and speed is equalized. Who wins?
Team Invincible just doesn't have enough feats yet.
Does it? I didn't see anything in the BOOM stuff to imply Tommy is way more durable.
This is BOOM Tommy versus composite DCAU/comics Terry. Standard equipment for both. They fight in the standard Khazan arena. Who wins?
Yes, of course.
Kinda off-topic, but I saw this mentioned somewhere else and I wonder what you guys think;
Is it true Ozy's plan would've been ruined if the rest of the Watchmen were in better physical shape? If...
Composite SS and Ozy.
Standard gear for both, and they fight on a Hell's Kitchen rooftop during the day. Win is by KO, and the starting distance is 20 meters.
Kyoshi has composite feats from the books and show. Grindelwald gets composite book/film/LEGO feats. Let's assume Kyoshi does not begin in the Avatar State. Who wins?
There's actually no evidence Unalaq could bend anything besides water. I'm pretty sure the Avatar can only bend all four because Wan visited each lion turtle and then bonded with Raava.
I agree...
Sue is on an entirely different level than Virgil. He has no chance.
Wow. How awesome will it be to see the final fight within the Great Spirit animated?
So an unusually strong team of 7 taijutsu-limited people against a village with people who can conjure up fireballs the size of small buildings as just an appetizer of their greater powers? If...
The relatively new Daredevil villain against the only good thing to come of the Age of Heroes.
Honor has her Nanode, but no other weapons. Muse is unarmed.
Win is by KO in daytime Hell's...
Ah. Then I'll bet it has something to do with the obscure, handbook-and-not-series-mentioned Smart Atoms and Eve's own powers.
Did Eve give him his Zenkai boost before or after the weird mini-reboot?
I think we may have just said the same thing.
While that's true, would you really classify Surfer as a flying brick? Or someone way more versatile who just so happens to be able to also physically outmatch flying bricks?
I keep forgetting this. Invincible is tricky because he's basically a flying brick's physicals superimposed onto a speedster's combat methods. I don't know that any flying bricks in Marvel or DC...
