Yeah but that was with a different artist. As Flex just suggested, it's possible this is just Schiti adding his ideas to the mix. We've seen so many variations of the energy daggers at this point...
I'm thinking those markings look too similar to circuitry to be a coincidence.

My bet is on it being some kind of tech in his suit.
This was great too! Reminded me of that "I'm going to break your jaw" scene in a lot of ways.

Loved the new energy dagger style! Also enjoyed the way they conveyed the stalemate between T'Challa and "Batman".

Gotta love those old comics. Looks like playing baseball with Reed would be pretty frustrating.

Quick question for you folks: Can somebody tell me when T'Challa and Luke Cage met? When Cage shows up in Hudlin's run, he talks about finally meeting his hero. But they fought together in Priest's...
Moon Knight almost caught one of those "Snap out of it, Stark!" backhands today.

Here's a scan of his latest feat:

And in case you were thinking, "What's 90s fever without pouches?"

It's always hard to tell how much New Avengers talk is too much for this thread. So to get back to Black Panther appreciation, here's a scan from a team-up with Black Axe that I found hilarious

Sure, the covers alone don't mean much. Though as a quick side-note, just because they've been doing stuff like that for years to trick people into reading doesn't mean we should all be ok with it....
No they definitely have. Just look at the covers and final pages of the last few issues. 17 and 18 end like this:

The covers of 18 and 19 show the fight but it still hasn't actually...
Also I'm sure this has been discussed but what are your thoughts on the size of his cowl's ears? I'm partial to the short style like in the second panel above (oddly, it seems the ears in the first...
This exchange in today's NA was funny to me. I guess because I imagine that at this point, T'Challa's so fed up with Namor that he was doing the "*through gritted teeth* What did I say in the car?!"...
Oh cool I heard about this issue but I didn't realize it was a time-travel/Kirby throwback kind of thing. Gotta check it out now. That Kirby style seems so goofy nowadays but a part of me really...
Seems like the advice T'Challa received just brought him back to the beginning of all this instead of offering something new. It's funny how over in Avengers #29 they make this even more obvious by...
Care to explain why it *has* to happen that way?
Schiti posted it earlier today on his Tumblr. Just a few more details about the first row of Panthers in that preview image that's been going around. Kinda funny to me that this version of T'Chaka is...
T'Chaka confirmed!
Happy Mother's Day to the Queen Mother!

It'd be a good opportunity for T'Challa to cross the bridge to Oakland! Would like to see the Black Panther confront the name association in a better way than that "I don't condone or condemn them...
Hadn't heard about that. That's a shame if true. Though considering what Magneto's been up to lately, I can understand them needing to maintain complete control over his appearances. Glad he at least...
It has fun moments but it ends worse than Doomwar, in my opinion.
Magneto would definitely be great too. I'd rather see him replace Namor instead of Xavier though (and maybe once Namor finally gets caught for sending Thanos to Wakanda, he will!)
