Gone but not forgotten.
Haven't used this account for a while but felt I had to log back in today. So long, Stan. Thanks for all the great memories. Rest in peace.
He was one of a kind.

Is Chris Claremont really considered a foreigner in the United States? He's been living there since he was three years old.
RIP Peter Wyngarde, who managed to inspire both Austin Powers and an X-men villain:

Merry Christmas folks.
It's about time. Tom Strong is a versatile character with vast potential and I'm pleased that DC have finally realised that.
I remember Robin's Hoods. The premise was similar to an 80's show called Downtown starring Michael Nouri.

Just noticed in the list of Marvel trades for December that Power Pack Classic vol 1 is getting a reprint. Hopefully they'll reprint the whole saga this time around instead of stopping after volume 3.
Sad news indeed. Giant-Size X-Men #1 is unquestionably one of the most influential Marvel comics ever published, laying the groundwork for decades of amazing stories. RIP.
I recently spotted the late Richard Griffiths, probably best known now as Harry Potter's Uncle Vernon, playing one of the terrorists who try to nuke the Eiffel Tower in Superman II.
*Cue Twilight Zone music*
George Reeves is still my favourite Superman but I'm not sure I can recall specific episodes now. I remember one where some criminal had sealed himself in an impenetrable cube to wait out the statute...
One Step Beyond was a show in the vein of Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits but seems less well known today. I watched it in reruns in the 80's but remember almost nothing about it. Supposedly all of...
I agree although it would be difficult to replace Jack Warden. The original show was developed specifically as a vehicle for him.
Crazy Like A Fox. Ran for two seasons followed by a TV movie. My mother didn't approve of me watching it because she thought it was too violent which seems hilarious in retrospect:

Yet another Joker movie announced, this one to star Jared Leto and Margot Robbie: http://variety.com/2017/film/news/jared-leto-margot-robbie-joker-harley-quinn-movie-1202537688/
My initial gut reaction is that this is a terrible idea because it destroys the mystery of the character, but I guess it might work as long as they don't reveal his real name:...

Rest in peace.
My condolences to her family.
