The real problem here is the writers/artists..they just can't move past the hound shit..they always come back to it in one way or another...almost always because they're trying to recapture a time or...
I'm anti Hickman era too..the core things that made the x-men the x-men are pretty much non-existent..this run is basically just an expanded upon Inhumans with X-men characters..but mostly X-men...
Bunn's entire Uncanny run was fantastic..even with the interruptions that were Apocalypse Wars and IvX...I think everyone conveniently forgets that the "All New All Different" era team book writers...
I get where you're coming from, I really do...and she's clearly your favorite, so I'm glad you're ok with it...but to me, she's not really choosing it (because she's not real) the writers are...
We get it. And with the exception of a few, still awful.
I'm with you. Most of these are horrible.
And Rachel's is just unbelievably bad.
If you read the article he talks about how someone asked him to incorporate a muzzle...not cool...the hound shit's just not cool anymore
And you're right..Cyclops' is awful...
But some of them...
Half of these are really awful..like really awful
Rachel's is unforgiveable
I think the real irony here is that they were trying to turn the Inhumans into the X-men and now, whether they realize it or not (though I think they'd have to be blind not to) they're turning the...
Doesn't make it good either.
What your comment really looks like, is a case of someone discounting another's opinion because of their own opinion and then right at the end trying to state their...
Agreed...can't wait until it's over
Also Agree with everything else you've said in this thread and the X-men #18 thread
Totally agree with this
I'd like to see a team of heavy hitters that can just wreck s@$t..
Rogue
Monet
Colossus
Storm
Iceman
Polaris
Magik
Wolverine (my preference is Laura)
I think your best bet, since she's a fan of the show, is probably The New 52 Flash Omnibus by Francis Manapul...
mycomicshop.com has a pretty good deal on it right now too..it's a $100 book and...
Of course the characters are OOC..they're basically in a creepier, cultier Inhumans book
How can they be in character if they're not even in the right book?
Nothing good about being an a-hole..
And nothing sneaky about flat out calling people stupid..
He doesn't need to tell me..this kind of pompous arrogance is expected from a guy who feels the...
Nope, not just you..I was put off by them too..rude, pompous and arrogant
I'm talking about the base similarities..not how they choose to deal with the outside world
Hickman has basically turned the X-men/Mutants into the Inhumans...but somehow has managed to make them...
Now they're just making the X-men/Mutants more like Inhumans...but taking it to weirder, more alien and more cultish places
Yep... posted this earlier in this thread..
"Hickman's X-men is more Inhumans than it is X-men..but even more weird, cultish and alien than Inhumans has ever been"
Krakoa is basically Attilan.....
^ I think people either don't know or have completely forgotten that Jim Lee had a lot to do with the "body swap"..just think it's an important thing to remember when speaking of the whole white...
Hickman's X-men is more Inhumans than it is X-men..but more weird, cultish and alien than Inhumans has ever been
This whole thing just feels off..feels wrong..Krakoa is basically a commune..Pod people, GoldEggs and the rest of the five, Prof X with copies of everyone's minds, no individuality, no one...
It's a f@#king disgrace...
At least it looks like they're going to treat her better in that regard
Well...I prefer my favorite character not look like a joke superheroing in just a red diaper
