I’m just annoyed the name isn’t Goblin Spider. That’s an actual type of spider! Come on!
Otherwise I’m onboard… but...

I mean, it seems that they were literally not given the time to do that, no.
They literally did bring in new writers, though. Just in Fall of X alone they brought in Deniz Camp and Steve Foxe. Iman Vellani and Sabir Pirzada. Torunn Grønbekk. Louise Simonson.
Al Ewing has mentioned that Genesis War was originally going to be a year-long arc, so clearly things were accelerated.
Was that a Feige decision? I don’t know. I’m more inclined to think it was...
I mean, based on the end of RotPoX #3, Xavier clearly has a plan. He put something in Moira’s mind
To me, this is why Mutants need to be in the same universe as the rest of the Marvel heroes for the Mutant metaphor to make sense.
If I’m being honest, any comic where Cyclops gets to tell off Charles Xavier is a winner in my book.
Well, he’s dead. That doesn’t help.
I’m expecting to see a last wave of resurrections before the era is over. After all, Quentin Quire is currently a decapitated head, but he looks intact in the previews for McKay’s book. I don’t see...
Candy is dressed like Jean as a clear reference to her role in John Byrne’s X-Men: the Hidden Years, where she donned Jean’s Marvel Girl outfit for an arc.

In all fairness, Krakoa is quite literally not a real place.
On the other hand, they already announced books set in Alaska, New Orleans and Chicago. Arguably more “real world” places than Marvel’s...
That title must go to Prodigy, surely?
Candy dressed like the Hidden Years, Wanda from First Class… Annie Nocenti with the continuity flexes.

Surge in her villain era?
I feel like there’s more redundancy between Marvel and WildStorm than there was between DC and WildStorm. So many WS concepts seemed built to riff on Marvel concepts.
RIP to Kiden Nixon lol.
There’s nothing more embarrassing in the end of this era than turning the living island nation of Krakoa into a tree guy getting dragged through a desert.
It’s Jackson and Kelly (aka Hivemind).
In all fairness, Prodigy got a fair amount of Krakoa-era content.
I mean, if you don’t want to read them, just don’t read them.
The must-read of the Krakoa era is Hellions.
