Interesting that X-Factor is going back to being a government book. Combined with the hint that mutants may well be a stateless people post-Krakoa, that has the potential to go to some real dark...
I imagine that wouldn't be too hard for the new writers to get away from. The re-election chances of anyone who could be smeared as a "mutie-lover" might be pretty slim, for example.
But yes,...
Northstar was allegedly Anole's mentor, though the actual mentoring all took place off-screen (though the estrangement got a spotlight story).
Siryn had the Morrigan thing going on over in the most recent X-Factor.
Yup. Or to put another spin on it, the X-Men are usually presented as more of an idealized family - trust, baseball games and holidays together, easy forgiveness, and wildly disparate personalities...
Small Prodigy mention in this week's Scarlet Witch comic.

Wolverine #81, Hama on script, Adam Kubert on pencils.
That's the thing...I get why they decided to focus the Pride special on Raven and Irene, but if they think they're popular enough to carry a whole issue, why not double dip and make this an X-Men...
My little sis was studying different art styles at the time and got a stack of comics, Larry Hama's Wolverine among them. I wasn't much interested in Wolvie, but Nightcrawler and Shadowcat were...
Eh. Buying it for the Academy X crew (and because Tate's a new fave) and it's nice to see the Technet, but I am not hyped for this. Everything just sounds so...banal. Where's the chaotic, toxic,...
X-Force
NYX
I liked Wrongslide as a concept; the possibility of coming back as an amalgam of your AU selves was one of the few ways writers came up with to give death stakes once the Resurrection Protocols were...
Here's hoping!
Most of them will effectively be mini-series, but that's OK. A good story is a good story.
Kingdom X has got it. I've got favorite characters who still get hate over single, out-of-context pages from before some of the folks complaining were even born. You can't let the opinions of folks...
I'd be sincerely worried about Julian getting offed if they made him full-on villain. Guy's already been sidelined for ages. Would sincerely love if he went grey-hat vigilante, though.
Glob Herman enters yet another villainous phase. XD
Agreed on all points. Thank you!
Hi Redjack,
Out of the available Academy X crew, what was it about Surge that made her your pick for this book? She's a longtime favorite of mine, but a some of the traits that I think of as...
Northstar's probably due another miniseries. I suspect he's in an interesting headspace post-Krakoa.
I know them from their Star Trek work, which I've enjoyed.
Northstar pinboard.

Definitely: UXM, X-Force, NYX
Probably Not: Phoenix, Wolverine, X-Men, EXM
Waiting: Storm, X-Factor
It's a young X-Men book with one of the most popular young X-Men and one of Marvel's most popular young characters period headlining it. That's the in for more casual readers. Everything else is down...
