I was actually just thinking that myself, although I believe he literally just announced a new Image book that he's going to write and draw. Plus Tony Daniel is probably flagship X-Men book material...
It makes my heart glad to see Betsy looking so good. I'm actually loving the X-Force colour scheme, her new design, the hair and the sword. I can't wait for #1 to hit!
The Tony Daniel, Mahmud Asrar and Clayton Crain variant covers all kick ass. The new X-Force costumes look really good and suit all the characters well.
Outback era + Wolverine + Claremont = sounds like a fun mini. I've been really enjoying Madripoor Knights so this is a no-brainer.
That's all true but at no point was Jean ever referred to as Marvel Girl. Not as a past codename, let alone a present one like Trish's use of it seemed to imply. Why would it be used now for the...
Hi Geoff,
will there be any sort of connective tissue with any other X-books? Not necessarily full-blown crossovers but perhaps specific characters or stories that connect to any of the other...
Can you please change my name to Alex Dee?
So if Saladin Ahmed is writing Nightcrawler and Greg Capullo is not drawing the ongoing book... the creator lottery for Wolverine has officially opened again.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I think Ahmed is definitely writing an X-book and if he shared his thoughts on Nightcrawler chances are it's a new Kurt solo.
Beautiful! And this too:

I've also been wondering why they keep showing Dark Phoenix and Lilandra killing her on the moon in the opening credits. Yes, Jean and Madelyne have basically been referencing the Phoenix almost in...
Wolverine recognising Betsy's face made sense as per Claremont's canon that the Hand had modified Betsy's features to make her look Asian - but I believe Nicieza later retconned this moment as this...
Hi Gail,
Can we expect any sort of connectivity between your Uncanny and Jed's adjectiveless? Or any other X-books in particular maybe?
Geoff,
you mentioned before how you first pitched a Forge-led book in 2020 if I recall correctly. Does that mean that was a version tying into the Krakoa era? Or was it more era-agnostic?
The giant Berserk sword is my favourite because it's so ridiculous.
Fabian really wrote some awesome X-comics. If you enjoy his writing, I also highly recommend his New Warriors and Thunderbolts which are also excellent.
She should just brush it off as a fashion choice, Rachel-style:

I just read the first few issues and I really liked it. The story, the art and the characters all work well for me.
I think crushing the readers' expectations as to what the book really is though...
I was also thinking about Caliban but then I thought it might just be some new mutant they rescue... unless it's Morph....
I'm really digging all the character redesigns here... Scott, Kwannon, Quentin and Idie all look great.
And who might be the bald guy that Hank is...uh... cuddling?!
I'm loving this!
I'm a fan of both OG recipe Wildstorm as well as the later Warren Ellis-driven era including The Wild Storm reboot.
Leaving aside all real-world considerations of how poor Marvel's acquisitions of...
Oh I forgot they wrote Harbinger. I was totally obsessed with Joshua Dysart's version so I'll have to check that out.
I like the idea of honouring Gambit's sacrifice by not resurrecting him immediately, although I do love him and want him back eventually, so I love the sound of what you're describing. Though I don't...
I've been loving what Foxe and his collaborators have done here and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all ends.
