I think Blade is possessed by Varnae, the first Vampire. He specifically mentions that the Darkforce attack was accomplished with pre-Cataclysm Atlantean rituals. That’s exactly Varnae’s deal.

I mean, the Marvel Voices issues (which, again, this Special is) do also focus on creators from marginalized groups. Not that I disagree that DC does it better.
