This series is fire
Reading interviews with the writer of this series makes me understand why I'm enjoying it so much. This is simply the best thing to happen to John Stewart since BruceTimm and Phil LaMarr.
Matt Fraction ruined him.
I see your point but I still don't see how Jessica Jones could have absolutely no involvement. She couldn't show up besides him? Or at least say my wife recommended your services? Unless I missed it...
I as a black man myself don't find it a good thing to keep a couple together just for the sake of representation of an interracial family with no story behind it. But to each their own. I obviously...
I've always said Tombstone should be his main antagonist. Just like when Frank Miller took the Kingpin from Spiderman.
And this is the issue to folks here that don't want the marriage, it's because over and over writers have shown a lack of interest in telling stories with them as a family. When it's about Jessica...
While management is responsible for not getting his books on the shelf I do think his character isn't as interested as it could be due to it. No one is saying his marriage is the only reason his...
So much this. In my opinion, Jessica Jones is the worst thing to happen to the character. Most writers never seem truly invested in them as a union. It's one of the other. 70's Luke still my favorite...
Bryan Hill is my favorite writer. His Killmonger was awesome and so was his Batman and the Outsiders so I didn't think he'd disappoint. I thought it was a solid first issue.
All sorts of facepalm. Marvel has no idea what to do with Luke Cage lol. And Rodney Barnes definitely no thanks after reading his Falcon.
What's in July?
Standards for writers continues to be lower and lower.
Bryan Hill is my favorite writer to ever write Jefferson Pierce. The only criticism I had was not going through with the romance with Tatsu but he made Jefferson a badass. I enjoyed reading that...
[QUOTE=skyvolt2000;6396769]Not with Duke and that is why I dropped the last set of issues. Hill pandered to the Duke haters in Detective and in Outsiders. He could have left him out of the series and...
I actually really liked the Outsiders and I thought Bryan Hill did an amazing job on all the characters. I most read for Jefferson, Tatsu and Cassie, but it was awesome to see Lady Shiva used later...
Tony Isabella tried that but DC still brought them back. I thought it was the right move when he made them Jefferson's cousins in Dead Cold Hands. I agree with you. I'm no fan of either of the...
Definitely agreed 100% Tbh, I don't really care for Thunder and don't find her character interesting. The TV show's version completely turned me against her.
You seem to have an issue with me in regards to this topic. When did I ever say it's a 'major priority'? Never. I never said there are not bigger issues with his character. Focusing on one aspect of...
He definitely pussied out and it probably had a lot to do with creator of Black Lightning cursing him out over Jefferson to dare have an interest in another woman aside from boring Lynn Stewart. Tony...
Got a link to it?
They were clearly building towards them in Outsiders. Nobody said every single heroine has to be someone. Chill out.
I was talking back when it happened in 2011. Plenty of her fans were salty about the hook-up.
That's what I miss about his character. The Hero-for-Hire gig was such a fun concept to explore and it took him on so many adventures. You never knew what was going to happen or who he was going to...
I really enjoyed during Hill's Outsiders run. I hope he finds a home soon.
