What a treat! This first issue lived up to the hype. I can see why Mike wanted Zack for this story. Those trees and the overall atmosphere is spot on.

That cover is beautiful! Caught me by surprise that Mike did the cover and not Laurence. But hey, I'm not complaining at all. One of my treasured spots on my bookcases is this run of Mignolaverse...
I'm so happy to see this news! As if I really needed an excuse to read The Crooked Man again, before February. Corben was in his late 60s when he drew this and it is some of his best work of his...
I'm not the biggest Mitten fan, but this issue was his best work to date for me. Really enjoyed the set up here. Looking forward to seeing this unfold.
I have been reading the Mignolaverse for so long that I wasn't shocked to see that Mignola was going to handle some of the art on this last issue. I figured maybe 6, 8 if we're lucky, but 13 pages!!!...
April 10th - Hellboy Journal (I picked one up at my local comic shop)
I wonder if it would makes sense to have Sledgehammer 44 part of the inevitable LJ omnibus program due to the Iron Prometheus.
I convinced my shop that I need a bookmark for each Hell On Earth omnibus & a spare. I like leaving a bookmark tucked away where the dust jacket folds into the book ready to use. I know I'm nuts.
It most certainly is. My ritual of reading the issue and popping over to his review immediately after was something I looked forward to and took for granted. I miss it.
I love how these fringe-type books play a more significant role as the BPRD main title come to a close. It has been quite a rewarding reading experience.
The sketchbook section for BPRD: Hell On...
zerodemon, I think you're right. I think the last close up panel on her face seals the deal for me. It's all rather strange.
I started reading the new Hell On Earth vol.5 omnibus last night. A great intro from John Arcudi! What a great collection this is & what a treat to see some Tedesco interiors on this title. I picked...
Absolutely this!
I'll be torn on what do do here. I have all the original HCs, but this looks pretty sweet too.
With the Hellboy Day (More like Hellboy week!) approaching, I thought I'd take some effort in solving my password troubles to post here again.
I'm a third into The Mignolaverse: Hellboy & the...
"Help me if you can, I'm feeling down"
I never really felt it achieved its potential. I would of killed for a 3-5 issue mini from Santiago Caruso (#30 is the standout of the series). The Fiumara twins are great artists and I'll pay...
This surpassed my already high expectations going in. I'm glad to have Ben back on the title. He was most certainly talented to start with when Witchfinder launched (still my favorite arc), but he...
Can't wait for this! Now that we will have 3 of these, I'm hoping that November/December 2018 is nice time for a Library Edition of all 3 together. Maybe some one-shots & DHP added too. The shelf...
Congrats on the new look for the site! Snagged a couple of the new tee (beautiful design!) because I know I'll want to wear it for years. Also, it was very hard to pick a print, but in the end it was...
I apologize for posting here, but I would very much like to be added to this list (if we can make this a list). Would like to obtain Hellboy In Hell Vol.2 HC. Willing to cover all costs plus extra....
What crazy feels I had reading this issue. Happy and sad all over the place. I can't wait for this all to be in one library edition, but better yet!!! ... another Artist Edition would be most...
And they're back in stock. Can't wait to hold this puppy!
Did you have to be early to obtain what you did? Also, can you describe what new limited prints were available?
Hey, thanks for the reply. Appreciate the thought.
