It was definitely not an image inducer with Storm. She literally transformed her clothes with lighting. And she can do it in the comics as well.

If it's true that it's supposed to be A-list creators, then Snyder and Ewing are the most likely candidates, I think. Could be Aaron too, but I don't want him anywhere near WW.

I don't think the 70's costumes are any more jarring here than using the 90's costumes and characters while adapting Claremont's stories.
