It felt the same way in the Telltale games too, it just felt like it was done to be "mature" and "edgy" and not because it fit.

I'm not terribly interested in what sells better, just what is the better story and both the plot and character progression are much better in Batman and Robin than in Batman.

I was originally optimistic in seeing the plot elements introduced in the Chase get more development...but so far it just feels like they are just retreading what came before except this time instead...

I don't get it...he seems like a genuinely nice dude.

This is one of those projects I'll believe when I actually see it.

The best way to see it is like this: only the good stories "matter". Batman and Robin is good, so it "matters", Batman and Detective are pretty bad so they don't "matter".

You don't need religion to think think that stealing and murdering are bad. The idea that religion has the morality market cornered is a strange myth.

Under Starlin? That definitely would have been true, but that doesn't seem to be the intent of this project.

Yeah, I just thought they might have changed it up after seeing the positive response of SNW. But as far as long form stories go this treasure hunt seems to be the most promising so far.

Following up on the Chase is definitely a good story idea, though I still kind of wish we had a more episodic feel like SNW does. Still, a solid start and both episodes were fun.

I can't see it being good with out the Wachowskis. Also, what else is their left to tell? The Robots reneg on their peace deal and there's a new war? Doesn't seem very compelling.

That looked pretty good to me, and more development of Elsbeth sounds like a good idea.

The art was fantastic and I liked the banter during the fight...but the plot barely moved an inch forward. I just don't get why you'd pace a book like this.

Oftentimes when a book transitions from one creative team to another there is a distinct feeling of a disconnect between the two; which is completely understandable as the old team's story is over...

I was hoping DC would do this when they released the alternate ending.
