I don't know how the Bana work these days, in this scrapbook patchwork continuity...lol but post Crisis, she was a mortal. Once the Bana were put on Themyscira, i think they also became immortal,...
Because the DC Amazons are not the Amazons of Myth. The idea of the Amazons was the basis of inspiration for DCs Amazons. And traditionally, there has been a Greek influence on the architecture and...
In a panel i saw from the YA Nubia book ( not technically in continuity) it shows Hippolyta sculpting Diana and Nubia of clay, and a bolt of lightning striking the sculptures.... whatever that will...
This x100
...and i think what most folks don't get, is that her classic weapons and generally perceived as defensive. Yes, in modern times ( Perez) her tiara has been used to decapitate ( Deimos,...
Seriously. If i read one more comment about how "she's a brutal warrior" etc i might barf. The problem with people thinking they know the character because they read Flashpoint or some such garbage.
Teresa Graves was the actress considered for the role of Nubia on the tv show, not Jayne Kennedy. Nubia was to be introduced in the first season, had it continued into a full season. ( or stayed at...
Post Death Metal, i don't know how it works, but post Doomsday Clock, the real multiverse continued to exist, including the original Earth Two.
It's a pity none of this was built upon. With the...
I hope not... crayola lassos is getting annoying...lol. Diana can have gold, Donna silver ( not blue) ...apart from that, i think each wonder would need their own special weapon.
Personally,...
I don't think it can work. Honestly, Metal should have just built off of the results of DDC and created an Earth where the older heries have retured/ are missing/ whatever and allow Jon, Yara, etc...
So this is why the results of this crud story are so infuriating.... its just even more confusing than before.
...and this is why DDC made more sense. That events didn't destroy what came...
It just seems like they perfectly clarified the universe with DDC, and then figured that was too easy, so let's eff it up with with Metal.
DDC just seemed like the perfect answer...that 'events'...
Hopefully Earth Two ( the proper one) will continue to exist, leaving the proper Fury in existence....
Main continuity? Nope. Anyways, we have Earth Two Diana has her daughter Lyta ( with Steve). So on other Earths? Why not.
I ran into someone at Disneyland who remembered me from my former job 600 miles from there..... on a different trip i ran into a friend from Australia at Disney.
Stuff happens. Lol
Because as the traversed the latter part of the course, they had to strike their specific targets with the arrows, releasing the colored smoke. Once Diana lost her bow, she couldn't do that, but...
The art in that story was atrocious....
She didn't wear a skirt back in the 40s. It's cullottes, a sort of loose full pair of shorts.
Or we can just let the Multiverse be the Multiverse, with it's different versions of Diana, and not have to keep saddling her with a war and timeframe that hasn't been part of her origin since the...
Maybe not the gold star nipples or stripe down the front of the boot.... ( TOO Wondy for me)
They mean Diana being a new hero , while Kal and Bruce had been around years longer. They should have all madevtheir debut around the same time. Having Diana show up so much later created aproblems...
...Amazons, not Amazonians 😊
But the amazons implanted false memories of her being rescued and raised by Hippolyte to give her a chance at a normal life. So do we know she was actually created and rescued as a child, or is that...
Def around the 12 Labours storyline in the 70s. I don't remember where i jumped in, as I was pretty little in the early 70s, but i have very strong memories of the Green Arrow guest star ish and the...
But She is strategic War. Thoughtful, calculated, reasoned warfare , as She is Goddess of Wisdom. ..... not bloodthirsty War as Ares is. It's a huge difference.
