Both Brevoort and Zub have said that it's not Kobik.

It's already confirmed that Voyager isn't Kobik.

The amazon description for the first trade says that it will contain 6 issues. I would be looking at the Infinity Watch thing as a possible lead into a return point.

At the same time Slott actually took advantage of Peter's rogue gallery and had stories where Peter used his intellect to build suits that fit the situation.

The ongoing seems to be spinning out of this story, which will establish the new status quo for the character.

This is an interesting choice. Outside of the latter part of his ASM run, Slott tends to put out good stuff and unlike Bendis is stuff happens in his stories and the arcs aren’t long.

I don’t think the book is double shipping outside of the first month.

If the rumors are true we'll be seeing ASM, the Avengers line, and the X-Men line all get major shake ups in the coming months with many of them seemingly getting new creative teams.

This book is going to be good. Such a strong creative team.
