I don't know who's doing it is, but I sure wish they'd get to doing with Brubaker's Death of Captain America and Captain America Lives omnis.
Amazon and B&N usually don't get their copies for a week or two after the direct market release to local comic shops, instocktrades.com, cheapgraphicnovels.com, etc.
Get the Brubaker omnis as well while you're at it :). It's a direct continuation of Bendis and just as good, if not even better. I really wish they would announce a silver age v2 soon.
I've never read the first issue of this series, but hear mostly positive reviews. I've seen some of the art and it's beautiful. I'll be ordering the hardcover next time I place an order for sure....
Yes that is the correct volume, their label is wrong. The four correct volumes also have publication dates from Sept 2015-Jan 2016.
There are four paperback volumes that collect the original MAX series. Search "Jessica Jones Alias" on Amazon and it should be the first four. Here's a link to volume 1....
Just finished Batman: White Knight by Sean Murphy. I've always loved his art, but this is the first thing I've read that was written by him. I loved this. One of the better and more entertaining...
I refuse to get too excited with any DC solicit, but that Jonah Hex omni makes me happy. I'd really love to have the Gray/Palmiotti run to go along with it.
V4 due in April, 2025. Yes, that is sarcasm, but wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being truth.
Where is this information about the DD & Annihilation reprints coming from? Anything official yet? I'll be ecstatic if true, but I'm not ready to get my hopes up based off some dudes opinion on...
ASM 4 without even thinking about it, assuming you like silver/bronze age comics. I read Eternal in singles when it was coming out and about half way through that weekly mish-mash I regretted it but...
For a great long haul read, you should consider the cosmic run in the two Annihilation and three War of Kings omnis. Excellent stuff from start to finish. The Annihilation omnis are long oop, but...
Oh the sad irony of an incomplete Complete Collection.
I pretty much agree with everything you said here, sadly including the less than stellar build quality of the book. It deserved better.
That is correct. I believe the volume 3 hardcover releases sometime in May. I don't blame you for skipping the Original Sin hardcover, such a botched event.
Edit: I "think" the whisper reveal...
This is one of those books that I love hearing people's opinions on after they read, I hope you share when you've finished. I know many love it, myself included, others not so much.
I'm going to try to wait for the next LE as I try not to double dip on stuff, but this one could be difficult. I could see me breaking that rule. I had no idea about the two tie in books. I hope they...
God Country tpb: Solid well written six issue one and done Donnie Cates story about an elder man with Alzheimer's who comes into possession of a mystical sword that cures him and has to battle the...
Thank you! That's not a bad cover, much better than I expected. I'll still try to get the period specific dm cover, but I can live with that. Either way, I can't wait for it to release.
I know I'll prefer the DM variant for this, but has anybody even seen the standard cover yet? If so, I'd really appreciate if someone posted it here.
Anytime you place an order on IST, you then receive an extra 2% "loyalty discount" on all orders for the next 7 days. That's why you saw them discounted more after placing your order.
Yeah, this looks like it's just the middle third or so of the entire series. I'll be passing on it. Thanks guys.
Can anybody educate me on the Dark Tower comics? I know it's an adaptation of the Stephen King novels, but I've never read any of it. Any good? It's a pretty solid lineup of artists. I know there was...
This. Easily. In Amazing Spider-Man #248 for anybody that has never read it.
