Anyone? I'm about to take the plunge on the Mammoth edition, the 2260 TPB and Hip Flask: Concrete Jungle.
My bad, I forgot to put Cory Walker's name in there for some reason. Hence why I said that his style had significantly improved since he left the series.
And I agree. Kirkman's plotting is what...
As much as I love Ottley's art throughout the whole thing, I think my favorite issues art-wise are the ones with Nolan and Allen broing out in space while looking for weapons against the Viltrumites....
Read Prophet, it's unbelievably good and there's quite literally nothing like it.
I REALLY want to read Five Ghosts, too. I've heard some great things about it, especially from this forum.
Prophet #45 has some incredibly satisfying moments if you've been reading since the beginning. It's the moment when it all comes together (as in, every featured group of characters finally meets).

Okay, I just read #45 and I'm incredibly hyped for Earth War.
Any guess as to when the next (and hopefully final) trade could be coming out? I assume it's going to be before Earth War begins, but by the looks of things I wouldn't be surprised if they delay it...
Has anyone bought the "MAMMOTH" edition that just came out? I've always wanted to get into the series and this looks like a good option, but it seems to collect some out-of-order issues.
Would...
FYI, Farel Dalrymple's The Wrenchies (which was supposed to be released in September) is in stock at Amazon.
If you like weird, beautiful comics as much as me, please do give it a chance. Here...
Okay, they just arrived and I'm in love with these trades.
I knew the stories themselves were amazing, but the quality of the books themselves, the paper quality and how sturdy they look is just...
I think those are actually the original trades from the 90s, so disregard that thing about them being published in 2004.
Also, I think those are actually the original trades from the 90s.
Wow, weird.
Here are some pictures of the covers:

I know it's unlikely, but does anyone here own these editions of the Sin City trades from 2004?

If so, how are they, quality-wise? I REALLY like the covers and they are pretty...
If Prophet wasn't ending soon, that would definitely be my first choice.
I'm going to say Black Science. It's one of the best things I've read from Remender since Fear Agent, which is...

Actually, I forgot one pretty big plus: The ending.
It was ballsy, different, it changed my perspective on Glory herself and it showed me a main character I could ACTUALLY sympathize with. I...
I'm really torn on Glory, to be honest:
Pros:
+ Art is pretty damn great, and I actually like the character designs a lot (except for Riley, who looks WAY younger than she is).
+ Henry was a...
Sure enough, the Image site just pushed it back to the 30th.
God damn it. I just want that fourth trade to come out...

Brandon also tweeted "up like a farmer to send off Prophet #45", so based on my extremely...
Yeah, it at least implies that some major stuff went down between Troll and Badrock.
Thing is...this whole thing hasn't actually happened in the main continuity yet, right? I assume the final...
Something I'm not quite clear on:
Last issue was pretty much a story about an Arc Mother on an assignment from the Earth Empire who discovers that Troll achieved his goal of fusing with Badrock,...
I actually found some art for Prophet: Earth War and it looks pretty amazing:

I think it's coming out next week. Or at least I hope so, since most every issue of Prophet has been delayed at one point or another.
And I have no idea how Brandon Graham and co. are going to...
It's weird how this happens with every Kirkman story.
He likes to take pride in the fact that he writes long-form stories with no definitive ending in sight, but in all honesty I don't think he's...
