Now that Scot Snyder's Swamp Thing deluxe is officially solicited, together with Lemire's Sweet Tooth, we just need to sit back and wait for the inevitable Jeff Lemire's Animal Man Omnibus.
When you finish the series, everything will "click" and make sense. There is no issue that is excessive or unnecessary. Every page, or every word is there for a reason.
With Watchmen by it's side,...
Just here to confirm that Chninkel is awesome. When it comes to BD, it can't get better than Van Hamme & Rosinski collaboration.
Other than Chninkel, they've worked on One-shot named Western, and of...
It definitely looks sewn with all them signatures.
From my experience Omnibees done in China are way better than their US counterparts.
Haven't order from wordery, yet. For now, prices are pretty much similar. Will try in future probably. Thanx for the tip, though.
p.s.How come you swapped Hungary for Scotland?
Regarding this, euro went to **** in value in relation to dollar so comics are much more expensive.
Considering that I was planning big order for February, difference in price for grand total is...
Haven't bought the absolute because I think Darwyn Cooke's art, altough I enjoyed it, is not for that oversized format.
Deluxe looks just fine and I'm gonna probably buy it. But for now it'll have...
When will Image (or anyone for that matter) come to their senses publish Paul Pope's collected THB?
Could you post some pictures of Superman For All Seasons?
It seems that it's completely skipped on this thread, might've missed it though.
Wasn't aware of the term "new weird" until now, but yes, it sums up perfectly what's there. :)
Hardcover itself is neatly done, with sewn binding and flat spine. Format is virtually identical to Bryan Talbot's Alice in Sunderland.

And it's great.
Here's me (and my dad :o) unwrapping this unholy beast.

Only now do I see that it's written by China Miéville. I've read his novel The City & the City and it's some damn fine book. Will try Dial H for sure.
Nice, thanx for pictures.
So Tintin is named Tim in German? That is...weird. Not as weird as Dutch though.
Can you post more pictures of Pride of Baghdad? Is it rich on extras or is it just oversized version of regular edition?
Bryan Talbot's Grandville Noel is out. Here's a glance at the book.

At the end of the video you can see all 4 installments of this great comic....
Pride of Baghdad deluxe is out. Anyone on that?
I've spent my money on new Bryan Talbot books this month, so PoB will have to wait for January.
If someone would post pictures before that, it would...
Besides those gimmicky September omnibees, I think it is. Hopefully, this'll lead to other deluxe/omnibus collections. Would like to see N52 Animal Man in it's entirety, Scot Snyder's Swamp Thing,...
With the trip of more than two weeks, and with "protection" the book had (or lack of thereof) I was indeed one damn lucky guy in this one.
Fortunately Saga Deluxe arrived today, with more protection...
A bit of a spaz, but I'll get better someday. Sadly, I've lost me left hand in swashbuckling duel.
Here's a glance at Saga Deluxe v1.

Neatly done hardcover, without dust jacket (which is again, norm for Image hardcovers), sewn binding.
Bonus materials include...
Here it is, Ronin Deluxe in it's glory.

Arrived today, it was long journey from Guernsey (dispatched on 31.10.), hopefully Saga Deluxe will take some shortcut to...
