I loved Morph as a kid, and to be honest, he stood out to me more in the series than Jean did. It wasn't until Evolution that I really understood Jean as a main member of the X-men.
She's actually right there at the bottom alongside Kitty Pryde, Dazzler, Angel, Forge, Jubilee, etc.
I love that Forge was dying in a cave, but Storm got her powers back and thought "what if I flew around a little bit before I help him?"
Who cares? It's fun. Overthinking fun things is not fun.
I've never been more ready for the new writers to take over. I trust Simone, McKay, and Ewing to handle these characters much better than this.
I honestly thought this was great. Comics writers in the last ten years have really focused on plot and ideas over character, so it was refreshing to see an episode that focused mostly on character...
I'm not sure that's 100% necessary for the story. It was a catalyst for his creation in the comics, but the prior knowledge of "a third Summers brother" isn't going to make or break his existence in...
Ha this is how I feel. At some point in comics, I just see it as an adult is an adult and a kid is a kid.
I'd love to see Rogue get a solo as the X-men's best legitimate superhero. She could be doing Avengers work outside her X-adventures.
Juggernaut and Kwannon were both on Cyclops's makeshift Uncanny team during Age of X-man, and Juggernaut has really proven himself during Fall of X. It makes sense that Scott would trust them both...
I don't think this is a case of self-inserting so the writer can lust after Rogue (nor do I really think most writers actually do this, but that's a can of worms I'm not going to touch in here). Beau...
Thanks for sharing! This is going to be great.
I think it's the Marauders.
Yeah, it's supposed to be set in 1997, so Arcades are still going strong.
I like a little whimsy and fun, so John Francis's Moore's run. It was unique, had a clear focus, and a top 5 X-books of all time cast.
I'm glad I'm not he only one. That voice didn't make any sense for that character.
This is basically what they did on Krakoa.
I think any team can support a book with the right premise and writer. I'd love to see them as the new X-Force.
With Nicieza saying X-Force should be about the younger generation joining together to form a middle ground between Xavier and Magneto, it could be fun to see Mystique leading a paramilitary squad...
I'm not sure about that. They focused on Rachel because she's on the Daredevil cover.
I know this is technically a sequel series, but I think of it more like the second Ducktales series. It's the same characters in the same environment on new adventures. Everything that came before is...
I was sure he was going to be on the Uncanny team until Gail said they weren't discussing the tv show when planning the books.
I think they might be leaning into Morph's AoA/Exiles powers where he's an omnimorph who can alter his body into any substance and change his weight and density which would definitely allow for...
That second episode was such a great showcase for Rogue. I'm excited to see where the show takes her.
