Truth to tell...I love Clayton Crain's art but I think he was at his very best during the Necrosha period. That Forge cover could have been much cleaner, it looks a quite rushed.
Yupp. Another really great issue. I teared up a quite bit over the "Marv and George" epilogue. That was beauty-full. This issue was an all-around High. I'm dreading just how Taylor will bring it/him...
Loved issue 10.
I particularly appreciate the multiple layers of duplicity Taylor employed and I'm really invested to see just how far he's taking Raven. On the one hand I want her to break free...
There was a pretty good spoiler on Twitter but I'm still not picking up anything under Duggan and Gillenister. As far as I'm concerned, this era unofficially ended with RoM 04.
Not really. But I read that the original Tank was dead so unless he was one of the earlier Krakoan resurrections...he or she could be a new character, just taking the name. It will be very...
Well, there is some precedent...in today's world the Political and the Religious are insidiously intertwined.
No they don't.
I thought it was a pretty good, intentional call-back to her...
Really good issue. It makes sense on a meta level that she would be able to break the LoL even by her own will and determination as lies and deception no matter how firmly believed, their foundations...
He's Krakoa....LOLOLOL
Wait! It's not the original Tank as the article stated under the mask? If not...that would be a very interesting surprise reveal.
The red part of her costume being pink due to her power signature on the Asrar cover is a very Revanche moment...and I like it.
It may be a longshot because of the Prophesy but I really hope he doesn't put them together. I like that in this Universe their paths cross but they keep on walking in different directions. Those...
Oh. Okies. Thanks O45. I really didn't pay much attention to old X-Force material back then.
Somebody...please tell Brevoort we need to see the Marcus To Costume Specs for X-Force immediately, if not sooner. Those variant covers are stunn!
lovelovelove the Asrar variant. I appreciate the costumes being individualised but still in-keeping with the colour scheme.
Well! Nice to meet you too, Tank. The pleasure is definitely mine.
Loving the black and red colour combo in these costumes.
I really don't like Sebastian PoS playing both sides. I know that's his schtick but...it really irks me to no end.
I'm a little confused about one thing...when did Beto's power include heat?
...
I never did.
At this point...I'm tired of them very loosely adapting these old stories and doing so badly. I know every X-Men fan is in a constant orgasmic state with XM97 but that patchwork quilt is not very...
Exactatiously. This issue was a disappointment in that regard. But with Maggie showing up next issue it should be better and hopefully Feilong will finally eat dirt as he deserves.
Look at it this way...With Kamla there they're banking on her popularity to draw in her readership fan-base. If done well...Prodigy, Anole and Sophie might actually become popular.
It was a nice sort of introspective for his memoire, if a bit tedious overall. And Feilong really should have been dead-dead by the end of the issue.
This is great news for me. I'm working with a comic book budget and X-books are not the only books I buy monthly, so decisions are being made.
While I don't think it waters her down...it is a fundamental part of her back-story...I wouldn't mind if they took their time to slowly explore her magical side and bringing it to the fore.
It's...
It's this part that has me very interested in XF
