I still see it as a valid reason to dislike the show. Things are condensed almost to the point of becoming unintelligible.

You SAY that, but when your team is outnumbered having a buddy to help you out certainly goes a LONG way.
My thought was "why did she break the car?" I mean she does the cool landing... but...
When you say "omega beam" I think "Omega Beam" which is a Darkseid thing.

And there was that time the...
yeah "differently abled" hehe.... no one can do everything, but yeah, some characters intentionally have more. Honestly making everyone "equal" is harder than just making them different in ways that...
which one gives the writer an excuse to team him with Cheshire? :D
the use of Nekra is a neat idea too. X-Men never wanted to even TALK about the voodoo stuff she could do.
That's actually a gripe I have with 97.
Sure it ads a few new characters... but a fraction of what the comics had. less than what TAS had.
Ok, if it's not a class trip and just Pete, that changes it yeah...
My sarcastically pessimistic guess about how the show would go is that the whole point was to ruin TAS by updating it for a "modern" audience and shoving things forward to the current comics timeline.
Also the glowing Angel phase let Warren heal people just by touching them. Somehow, he over-exerted this when healing Abraham Keiros though. Which was what caused him to revert to regular Angel.
Jubilee in shorts is normal, but she usually goes for something like jean shorts or cargo pants.
I'm hoping that the Omega Sentinel thing gets brought up. 'cause in the comics... exceptions exist who didn't actually do what Bastion wanted.
Amora isn't a top-tier magic user though. She's close to the top, but not AT the top. So a coven drawing power from her would have to be kinda weak.

I like this Sentinel design.
Also... people keep forgetting that Psylocke was first seen in a HAND ninja-suit! The ninja-suit is never seen again after it gets ripped off while she's fighting Archangel.... but... she was...
I mean... If Cassie is in her late 20s it would make sense for Donna, Dick, and Kori to be mid-late 30s, yeah....
Which fits with the whole Lord Chaos story since in-universe that was YEARS ago...
This still doesn't look like Firestar to me :p She's not actually Pyrokinetic...
It also erases the existence of Kwannon entirely.
it's an amusing character concept :D
I think the issue is a branding thing. organic growth of character designs... doesn't work with the way marketing handles copyrights and trademarks.
I thought Spitfire was a vampire, or psuedo-vampire?
what is that Firestar or Carol Campbell?
And in the case of Karima.... Karima's never actually been evil. It's always stuff like "the Sentinel programming made me do it!" Which is a lame recurring plot device but at least it's consistent.
This ties into why I spell it as "Mutant" and not "mutant". Marvel long ago stopped using the dictionary word.
I thought it was a great way to render a GL outfit.
