Best partner in crime Peter could ever have, love it!
I'd say Spider Sense has been disabled for the majority of Wells' run, or nerfed to the point of being a non-factor.
Happy to see a Spider-Man with genuine superpowers; the current version of ASM seems like just an ordinary guy at this point (except for having a magnet for fists on his face).
A very promising start. I must admit that I didn't think I would like Uncle Ben the most. All the characters feel truly themselves, despite their different context. And yes, a whole issue were Peter...
Oh cool, another Spider-loser book by Wells, just what we needed.
While lecturing him twice in between
Both this and Spine-Tingling Spider-Man were great. It's been a long time since I've had this much fun reading a Spidey book.
Well deserved, congrats Dan!!!
We can take comfort in the fact that Wells has to make a living writing about a character he clearly despises.
I'd like this Peter to have a slightly different powerset and not just a 1:1 copy of 616's.
Certainly, that's something to celebrate. Is this the first run that will have no representation on those cool 'Spider-man Feats' threads??? I mean, Spidey looks almost like a regular, powerless guy...
As much as I'm loving the concept, it saddens me to agree with the opinion that this is indeed a statement from Marvel that we'll never see a happily married 616 Peter. I hope this sells much better...
Yeah, that was a pretty enjoyable read.
Unrelated to this issue, but I'm looking forward to see some interaction between Otto and Bailey in the future.
I'm sure even a Captain Universe-powered Peter would still lose every single fight to any low-tier random foe in this run.
I wish he'll be a Peter Parker that resembles Peter Parker, not like that insufferable jerk starring Well'S ASM
My bet: Peter proposes marriage to the lawyer
Obviously Jackpot & Boyfriend are going to kick this loser ass
If that MJ/Paul scene is a snippet of what we'll see in the Jackpot series, I hope they keep Peter far away. Let her boyfriend be the one to support her, and let's see if the both characters are...
And here I thought he was anti-marriage. JK, congrats Dan!!
My thoughts exactly. We've been used to low standards after OMD, but Well's run is just on another level
Sure it will, the damage he's doing will be really hard to fix/ignore
Marvel has no idea what to do with Peter. Period.
Indeed, it has to be one of the worst, considering we have this topic popping up every now and then. For me personally, yes it is. By a significant margin. It's not just the consistently poor plot;...
I wonder if Wells has decided that Peter doesn't win a single fight throughout his run, and that we don't see any feats from the character either. Spencer's version already seemed quite nerfed to me,...
Come on Marvel, why are you so scared??? You already have Miles, Gwen and now Bailey...
