I agree--I have the 2018 "New Gods" and "Forever People" and the paper is heavier, not the shiny, thin stuff....art/colors look great...

I have the Deluxe Edition hardcover, and the cropping is just as bad...even worse, the pages aren't side by side, they're back to front...
