I liked Cates’ run, but Waid’s has been outstanding. If it isn’t some kind of relaunch ruse, I can’t understand how Marvel can cancel this book while still publishing stuff like Old Man Quill.

Infuriating!

Doctor Strange (I'm a longtime fan, and I think Mark Waid really gets the character).
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man (excellent character portrayals, down-to-earth but fun).
Spider-man Life...

This one, definitely.
Mark Waid’s run on Doctor Strange. Full of interesting twists and turns, and the Doc is behaving like the Doc again.
Getting:
Doctor Strange 10
Guardians of the Galaxy 1
Maybe:
Captain Marvel 1
Getting:
All the titles in the Defenders event.
Doctor Strange
Infinity Wars 6
Agreed!
I liked the mind boggling scale of the first arc, but I really don’t care much for the prehistoric Avengers. With the Doc gone, I’m out. And I’m definitely with you on She Hulk.
And fans of J.M. DeMatteis.
True, they did say the roster would shift. I was kind of hoping that the story would make me want to stay on board, even with my favorite character gone, but I don't think I will.
From his comments in this issue, and his absence in the November solicits, it looks like Doctor Strange is done with the Avengers for a while. If that's the case, I probably drop the book.
Definitely:
Doctor Strange #6
Infinity Wars #1
Avengers #9
Probably:
Champions (I’m a big Jim Zub fan)
Runaways
1. Doctor Strange
2. Avengers
3. ASM
I wonder if Defenders will continue with a new writer past issue 10. BMB posted this on his Tumblr:
"thanks for all the defenders love today. these were all written before I knew I was leaving....
I enjoyed the issue. I actually found Peter's "tight five" pretty amusing.
