Outer Darkness #8
Spawn #299
No SD, probably because its like 4 issues behind.
Rob relies heavily on his inkers and colourists to fix his mistakes.
He once said he can draw a 22 page comic in 2 weeks, which sometimes.. really really shows.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Now where is my Brigade KS HC Rob?
Adding Gogor to the pull, and i want to grab the COPRA trades, but they are gonna be close to $25-30 bucks here.
Rosenberg is fantastic at setting stuff up, but always stumbles on execution and sticking the landing.
Also, this comic is $12 where I live after exchange rate and taxes. I can buy an Image trade...
I have a tendency to stay on a title for a story arc, 6 issues, and then jumping.
I feel though, my the next time I feel like switching, I'll be going digital over print.
Not adding any new series, but jumping on board for the Spawn Road to 300 Tour.
I bought the first trade yesterday.
What a read.
NP mate. I just order vol 3-9 of the archives. it reads really well in only massive 25 issue collection. I think there will probably be a 10th one out, collecting 226 -250, around Christmas or...
You can get the whole series up to issue 225 in B&W Archives that are $20.
You do lose a little of the story without the colour. but its a cheap easy way to catch up, putting you about 20 issues...
With any luck, hopefully 2 this year. With probably another archive end of next year.
Im pretty sure after issue 301, Todd will finally let Spawn go. He wanted the longest running indy comic to stick it to Dave Sim.
Its only been recent that its replied to tweets, before it was just simple once a week tweet outs. Regardless, its nice to see it being used to interact with fans.
It looks like they final got a proper social media team now.
Kinda like Luke Cage Jr.
Yea. least give the first volume a try.
I might skip on Quincredible. Not sure.
Doesn't Quincredible take place in the CPU but is under the Roar Banner?
It looks like most creators are signing on for 2 volumes. Which is fine. Allows for a nice storyline and then opening it up for new voices.
Won't be picking up my comics for another week or two.
Still need to order a bunch of trades as well.
Picked up my comics yesterday and didn't get Noble.. I know I ordered it.
Also, damn excited about all the creative changes coming up. Super excited.
for new readers its a bitch, but once you figure it out, its good. Each Volume is a complete trade.
That they both go my Issue #, Vol # on the cover but not in the previews. It made ordering kinda hard. Its fine now that I am all caught up with current issues, but back ordering was a pain.
Their solicits are often annoying to read, but it looks like a lot of creative changes this fall.
