They literally did bring in new writers, though. Just in Fall of X alone they brought in Deniz Camp and Steve Foxe. Iman Vellani and Sabir Pirzada. Torunn Grønbekk. Louise Simonson.

Al Ewing has mentioned that Genesis War was originally going to be a year-long arc, so clearly things were accelerated.

Was that a Feige decision? I don’t know. I’m more inclined to think it was...

To me, this is why Mutants need to be in the same universe as the rest of the Marvel heroes for the Mutant metaphor to make sense.

I think the winners are all the characters that were dead and now are alive.

In all fairness, Krakoa is quite literally not a real place.

On the other hand, they already announced books set in Alaska, New Orleans and Chicago. Arguably more “real world” places than Marvel’s...

Realistically speaking, the X-line is never going to have enough space for all the characters worth spending time on.

Surge in her villain era?

I feel like there’s more redundancy between Marvel and WildStorm than there was between DC and WildStorm. So many WS concepts seemed built to riff on Marvel concepts.

RIP to Kiden Nixon lol.

There’s nothing more embarrassing in the end of this era than turning the living island nation of Krakoa into a tree guy getting dragged through a desert.

It’s Jackson and Kelly (aka Hivemind).

In all fairness, Prodigy got a fair amount of Krakoa-era content.

I mean, if you don’t want to read them, just don’t read them.
