It's a good idea for a spin off, but, personally, if Star Trek comes back I would rather them jumping 100 years later to the furure like TNG did.

It was in 2009, it's really funny in retrospect.
Newspapers protect their sources, particulary against corrupt government organizations.
Hence why newspapers and media outlets are the firsts to go in a dictatorship.
The easter eggs do feel like that, it gets annoying. The Prof Pyg cameo was better. He got real big, I just wished he had stuck with Dick instead of moving to Bruce.
Look, it's Fox, who the hell knows how they work. For all we know ''That one actor be looking at me funny'', is in a couple documents somewhere under ''Reasons for cancellation.''
That's the vibe I get. More Hannibal the TV Show than Red Dragon.
Anyone noticed the obscure villain reference tonight?
I would disagree, that was one of the best episodes in recent memory, touching and the weird as all f#ck Couch Gag was great.
Pretty much what I was about to say, also the chicken fight took way too long to end.
More the reason to introduce him. Everybody knows the jerkwad making riddles will grow up to become the Riddler, Tommy Elliot's eventual decscent into villany would become a surprise for those who...
Damn it, should've used my one time hatefilled post for how much I hate Rotten Tomatoes and it's buzzfeedication of film criticism...
Oh, you mean these beauties?

Oh my God, YESSS!!! She would be perfect with Mcgann. Maybe just continue her story, going from 12th to 8th like Charley did. Her knowing about the Time War and the War Doctor would really mesh well...
The movies take from the early UU, unoriginal 616 editors take from the movies.
What baffles me here is that this is the perfect opportunity for Marvel to push the Ultimates and make great coin...
I felt that due to the nature of the story and it's protagonists it had to be at least pg13 edgy, but at times it seemed like they didn't know what to do with their new found liberty. A step up from...
What's sad about all of this is that Orci had some pretty cool ideas about the future of TNG (that have been explored in some of the comics) and could have probably made a good Next Next Generation...
I was wondering were the Nit Pick brigade was when the TV/Film thread was mostly positive.
Abrams is no longer involved, this is Roberto Orci, who never had an idea to begin with.
Though if he retcons Shatner's death from Generations, I would be cool with it.
It's both to late...
Neil Degrasse Tyson guest starred.... so, there's that, I guess.
She's still a supportive Fiance who hasn't had to deal with an affair or mobsters kidnapping her son. And the Penthhouse, she is rich, or has rich parents.
Really? That's refreshingly clever. Like a nice story within a story. ''One of this 5 (or whatever the number is) guys will become a horrible disfigured mass murderer''. I hope it goes somewhere,...
It was Ok, a stylized cop show. Not really that good, not that great either.
I Liked that Selina witnessed the Wayne murder (Fuels my Bat/Cat fire) but they kind of blew their load with all the...
I would imagine is just mammals, as I don't think it's possible for humans or dogs to get a bug disease, but I can see bugs being carriers like fleas and the bubonic plague. That would explain it's...

Well, that would have been a hell of a twist had that director gone to the ''Shut the fuck up about important plot points before they air'' class in film school.
It had a nice I Am Legend feel to it, I half expected him having to drive that stake through the Dog's head like it sort of happened in I Am Legend.
