Harley Quinn (+5)
I love this series. I just finished the third episode and can't wait to see what's next. The different spin on the Batman mythos is refreshing and I hope we see more seasons in the future.
I would recommend it, I picked it up for $20 and I thought it was well worth it.
With that said, it's not a perfect game. I'll list a few pros and cons:
PROS:
I like how the game was...
Daredevil
Black Panther
Dr. Doom
Batman
Darkseid
Harley Quinn
Catwoman and Wonder Woman would round off the top five, but as of April 2016, the three listed above are my favorites.
I don't mind both escapism and social commentary in a comic book movie. I don't think it is necessary for social commentary to be in every comic book movie, nor would I want it to be in every comic...
Yeah it's an awesome omnibus and was priced cheap too, so it can't hurt to have two.
Awesome collection. Do you have multiple copies of Big Damn Sin City or were the pictures you posted taken at different times when the book was in a different area of your shelf?
Thanks for the reply. This is disappointing but not surprising news, unfortunately. Putting aside my feelings on Odyssey (the worst Batman book I've ever read), I loathe the recoloring/redrawing that...
How about the artwork for the Neal Adams Omnibus? Is it the original coloring or is it the Adams recoloring/redrawing? I can ignore the filth that is Batman Odyssey if I'm getting his original...
In my opinion, the one shots are not essential. I read a couple (Batman, Lex, Supes) and they aren't anything spectacular. It's really more of a showcase for their New God powers and can be skipped...
Except that no one said that DC is outselling Marvel.
The Batman brand is a juggernaut, especially when you consider all the mediums outside of just comic books. There are a lot of people that...
01 The Dark Knight Returns
02 Year One
03 Grant Morrison BATMAN run
04 The Killing Joke
05 The Long Halloween
06 Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
07 Batman Incorporated
08 Ed...
Ivy giving Harley an ultimatum to choose between her and Joker is indeed from Gotham City Sirens.
M rated is just fine, I'm glad to see that they won't be toning the game down. Remember, it's not like M rated is the highest rating a video game can receive. There is the dreaded AO (adults only)...
I would recommend starting with the new creative team if you're just getting into the book. If you follow Eternal, you'll have an idea of what you're getting into with Catwoman.
Obviously with this being comic books, different writers will do different things, but Catwoman has not only been trained by Wildcat, but has actually defeated him a number of times while they...
She is the funny and twisted one, though. Are you reading her solo title? Her characterization and costume are light years better compared to the ICP groupie look in Suicide Squad. She's also written...
Gorilla Grodd
Starman (Prince Gavyn)
Big Barda
Sinestro
Poison Ivy
Red Hood (Jason Todd)
Cyborg (Victor Stone)
Robin (Damian Wayne)
Solomon Grundy
Etrigan the Demon
The New52 era Suicide Squad book is garbage. Poorly written, generic plots, and easily the worst version of Harley Quinn that has ever been published. Stay far away.
Now, the solo Harley Quinn...
I can't be alone in thinking that the portrayal of Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad books is ranging from mediocre to mostly terrible, right? Her appearance in the Deathstroke solo title wasn't that...
Black Adam
The Penguin
Harley Quinn
Bane
Big Barda
Deathstroke
Supergirl (Kara Zor-El)
Lex Luthor
I think Egg Fu appearing in Harley Quinn's comic isn't indicative to how he'll look if/when he eventually appears in the New 52. He was played up more as a cute character, and he did sneak in a ton...
Mr. Freeze
Cheetah (Barbara Minerva)
Talia Al Ghul
Big Barda
Black Adam
Lex Luthor
Deathstroke
Harley Quinn
Bane
Swamp Thing (Alec Holland)
Love this idea so much. You could even work in Gordon finding the pictures of Joker from decades ago into the fever dream / coma idea; a part of Batman's obsession with Joker and perhaps his mind...
