In the late 70's, Frank Miller was a young artist struggling to make ends meet. With small projects under his belt and almost without support, he landed at Marvel and slowly made his way through the...
Late to the party due to my personal commitments, but here is my video review of the movie. I hope you like it. ;)

Me neither.
Me too.
..
I am. The difference is that I am very familiar with the source material. Something you clearly are not.
Totally agree.
Did you really watch the show or have you ever read a Daredevil comic book? Your questioning and line of thought make no sense to me.
The show took more inspiration from the Frank Miller depiction of the character. The 80's run, the Born Again and Man without a Fear series. Those were very dark and gritty stories by the standards...
You are too quick jumping into conclusions.
I agree.
Is this question going anywhere?
Although I am excited about the movie, I have some concerns. This is only my opinion:

Graduation day; what a day. When everything you have worked so hard on, comes into a climax full of tradition, honors and fanfare. Every sweat and every tear, every late night and every worry are...
Oh, the early 90's. What a time! I remember it like it was yesterday. I was young and full of life. Anticipating every single issue of what I considered the best comic book of all times (certainly...
I go to museums regardless of the exhibit. It is one of my guilty pleasures.
I would definitely like to see a Comics World museum at some point. One that not only cover comic art from all over the...

Then you are missing the forest for the trees. If by your account, art carries more weight than the writting, then Lee's art should be at the top of anybody's list. But as you can see, it is not...
The Marvel way does not longer exists as it used to be because the "artistic direction department" (let just call it that) that is no other than an executive board, has more control over its books...
We have to remember that Lee came to work with he Uncanny X-Men at the same time Claremont was ready to hang up the gloves. Clearly, Claremont long and brilliant run was at the end of its rope, and...
Thank you, friend. Although I've been a guest of the site and the old one for years, I can say that I like to participate in here already. Nice place to share and discuss ideas with comic book fans....
The Marvel way no longer exists as it once was therefore alluding to it is a bit out of context. Don't get me wrong, art is important but it cannot carry the story by itself. They both have to go...
Writers have a great input on the art. If the stories suck, consequently the art is going to take a hit. An artist is only a translator of the writer's vision. Whedon was the mastermind behind...
The funny thing is that we are trying to compare Lee's X-Men that was done in the early 90's with Cassaday's X-Men that was done in the mid 2000's. Lee's art has evolved beyond those early days and...
Lee's art is better than Cassaday's hands down. The only thing that puts Cassaday on a higher note is the coloring, which is done digitally nowadays. JRJR and Lee didn't have that luxury when they...
In a sea of modern artists, it is a daunting task to pick the good ones from the bad ones. But if there is a diamond in the rough, Frank Cho is well deserving of the title.
For the past 15 year,...
