"Yeah, good for him" Ha damn I love Spencer's sense of humour! Ottley's facial work really helps sell the comedy, this is definitely what I was hoping for when their run was announced.

I'm pumped! I think Spencer is a perfect fit, I love his sense of humour he brings to his work and that it's a great match for Peter. Ottley is a very talented & reliable artist who draws a great...
While there were some arcs that weren't particularly memorable I really enjoyed the era, especially during the gauntlet\grim hunt arcs. Those Rhino issues would have to rank as some of the characters...
Bit late to the party but finished Omega today and I really enjoyed this story overall, gave it a B. Some great emotional moments and while I'm not keen on the evil heel turn it was great to have Ben...
34 read off and on through the 90's but been reading solid from Civil War to now. Generally I really like Dan's take on Pete. His work has a nice silver age feel to me.
For me it's the superior run, especially around the Kingpin arc. Big shout outs to No One Dies & Big Time
Spidey being forced to work alongside his enemies sounds great plus having Cheung on art duties just pushed this into my 'can't wait' category!
I think Dan will probably get another year or 2 worth of stories from it. I see him being around for at least another 3-4 years as writer so that puts me "within his run" crowd.
While I've loved his work on Batman, Swamp Thing & his Image stuff he seems to steer to wards a darker style of story that I don't think suits Spidey. Like other here I'd rather see him take on...
Spider-Verse for me. Great story with wonderful art. The finale of Peter finally getting to beat down Spock was awesome.
That cover to ASM #6 is fantastic!!!!!!
I'm not fussed, I like Bendis dialogue so I can imagine some great banter between MJ & Tony.
BND/Big Time Spidey for me. Enjoy the youthful angle more than committed family man approach.
I think we'll see her again definitely, she has too much story potential not to. Former lover, knows his secret identity, works with the police for etc there's plenty to mine there for content.
I don't see how anyone can say Dan is hogging a title he has no ownership of, it's Marvel's call as to who writes Peter Parker.
Personally I prefer characters to have a single writers direction...
Very happy to hear Dan is staying on, big fan of his run. Good to see Camuncoli move into the lead artist spot, he's improved so much over the last few years it's well deserved.
I dropped off the Ultimate Universe years ago so I never read any of Miles stories, though wouldn't mind catching up through Unlimited. Where's the best place to start? Death of Spider-Man?
As Tom Brevoort has stated before he believes Spider-Man is primarily about youth which is why having a child works for characters like Luke Cage or Reed Richards who aren't youth-based characters....
Not really much a revelation this had pretty much been his view since 2007. Tom has been very consistent in what he believes is best forcSpider-Man. I don't see why Marvel would undo OMD now, sales...
Guess it's all in the eye of the beholder, I'm a fan of Dan's run and think Spider-Man has been on a pretty awesome streak for quite a while.
Well considering the sales of Superior MC-2 would probably still be around if they had.....
I'm no bothered by it. It's been what 6 years since May's series was cancelled? Not to mention that weren't sales pretty low for most of her run anyway? Considering she was seemingly the only...
I voted Dan since I've enjoyed his work the most but it's a tough call with Bendis and Straczynski in the mix.
.......you got all that from just a cover image?
Bit early to be that pessimistic isn't it?
Oofff tough choice. The amazing Gauntlet lead-ins give the edge to Grim Hunt for me. Really enjoyed both stories though.
