Actually, know that I think on it, I remember why I class Dick as pansexual due to his relationship with Starfire. Morrison wrote that Hal was pansexual as Hal flirted/more with the female alien...
I don't consider The Knight headcannon as it is a book from DC. And when a writer "hints" I take the hint.
Besides when/if Batman comes out in the Pride issue and someone says, "That character was...
Taylor not to my knowledge. But then I've never seen the "coding" assigned to Dick.
Anton is gay. Anton maybe Ghosthunter... the guy from the images above.
Everything matters....And the references to the Knight are made in Batman.
Future State is still being referenced in current books, even Tim Drake Robin.
Which I forgot Anton and Clownhunter...
Again, so we count Jason as the one heterosexual character? We know Dick is claimed to be "gay/trans" coded, so he can't really be counted as heterosexual. And if we can agree that Jason is...
I remembered a scene where Roy invited Jason to join, but I only read the series once. I'll concede the point on Jason then.....so then I guess there is 1 heterosexual in the Batfamily.
Cass/Steph: Future State
Bruce: Batman The Knight
Vixen: giraffe tongue see T Franklin's Eat, Bang, Kill
Wallace/Teen Titans Academy: was supposed to be the problem with Wallace and his...
My assumption was that Damian was able to resist the pull as Damian resist the pull all the time. Plus, unlike the others his embryonic fluid was Lazarus juice infused with Chaos. As Dick originally...
So you don't think any is heterosexual?
Cause:
Bi: Cass, Steph, Tim, Bernard, Bruce, Selena, Talia, Joker, Ivy, Talia, Vixen, Jinn, Wallace, Roundhouse, Jon
Gay/Lesbian: Kate, Harper, Cullen,...
Do you have some sort of aversion to Damian being heterosexual? Is there something wrong with one character in the family not being "queer"?
I thought Damian was on vacation in Knightwatch, and not actually in the story.
I do think part of the problem is that we haven't seen Bruce particularly care about Damian...for several years. All the way back to RSOB, Bruce has been shown to actively not care for or about him....
At this point, I'd rather Damian go off on adventures with Flatline, Connor, XXL, Black Swan and Mara. No magic, just the "villian" kids traveling and having adventures.
For the most part Batman vs Robin was well received. I dropped it, but reviewers really liked it.
Have any of the magic users sold? It seems like fans of those characters complain a lot that their favorites aren't getting time and don't have books.
Frankly, Task Force Z didn't even sell well...
So those that think it would be positive, what would make Damian different than Constantine, Zatana, Jason Blood, Tim Hunter or Jinn etc? Why would a writer pick Damian for a magic story (other than...
That would work for me :)
I've mentioned before, I think making him a magic user is a dead-end for the character. Just like Duke Thomas and Jason of the All Caste. It removes him from the kind of street level stories that...
And a crush on Katana in Streets of Gotham and Supergirl in Supergirl.
All of those stories though allowed both characters to have agency and to experience a range of emotion. Here Steph, the female, character was denied both. Bi, gay, straight humans, all well written...
I've enjoyed the prior series and this one as well. At least there are stakes.
I'd be happy for Taylor to move on from Nightwing and onto a Titans book....as long as someone else gets to continue...
To you, perhaps. I find him very relevant to the topic if Tim Drake. Far more relevant than Fitzmartin.
Perhaps instead of attacking Dixon, you could point to evidence that Dixon is incorrect and...
I don't know that this is a Nightwing discussion so much, but I don't see Alfred as a great father. Alfred raised the Dark Knight, Bruce raised Dick Grayson. One has complex relationships with his...
I do think it's matter of the connotations of the words. My mom rode bikes....but she was never a "biker chick". Kind of like "working girl" at times did not mean "a woman with a job".
