New 52 got me into reading comics, when I saw those #1 I said now is the time, so I'll be forever grateful for that. Only when Rebirth started I understood what the fuss was all about and what people...
Honestly my biggest "problem" here is that I'm already reading many DC books, and I'm pretty pleased with each of them, so can't make room that way, plus I started reading both Hulk and Venom... I...
I think Wally will have a bigger role, that is just a feeling I have while reading Rebirth, buuuut Barry is still going to have a big role.
Not so sure about that, isn't Superman already having problems because he merged with New 52 Superman? I think New 52 will be used in the future for more than few arcs.
True. What I meant is... Legacy is presented as a good time for people to jump in - for example I really enjoyed how well written Hulk is and how easily I found myself in this story, how well it is...
Alright then, #700 it is, hopefully I'll enjoy it.
Is 700th issue of Thor a good jumping in point? I got into reading Hulk and Venom, wanna get into Iron Man and Thor as I understand they are returning to Tony and Odinson?
I think Flash will have a similar role to what he had in The Button, someone who will present information to us and solve few unsolvable things, minus the time travel as I hope they won't go down...
That makes sense and changes things drastically, thanks for the constructive answer mate!
Alright, thanks for that. So those changes were long term plans and are actually made through the story? Not just one character is gone - bring in the next.
I'm talking about people who can't enjoy it or chose to drag it down because it lacks diversity. Your point is one I agree with and was never against, you misunderstood.
Ha?
Batman
Superman
Batwoman
Nightwing
Deathstroke
Hal Jordan
Tim Drake
Swamp Thing
This comes from someone who had multiple short trips into the Marvel comics, I read DC mostly, and I'll probably once more start with Marvel now when Legacy is kicking off, so just have in mind this...
Same. I just hope we do not get one of those generic artists, those clean drawings, something Marvel is doing with most of their books.
I'm enjoying Priest on Deathstroke a lot, but I don't know if he would manage to write Swamp Thing well.
My problem with him is that he thinks original equals good. For example I Am Gotham, it is a new idea, but a very boring one for a character like Batman in my opinion. He writes ideas that are good...
It depends, DC has many "new" series and are going through discovering "stolen years" so he could learn a lot about history while reading new stories.
I don't know if that is good or bad, honestly he is such a hit and miss writer, he is either great or horrible, there is no in between. For example I hated his I Am Gotham and I Am Bane, but I loved...
Rebirth is a good starting point in my opinion.
I'm looking forward to this, I love Bane and I hope King gets out of that "mixed" zone and starts doing some seriously good stuff, because if this ends up being another meh arc, I might drop Batman...
I started reading comics with New 52, I read some major comics that were wrote before that (like Watchmen for example) so Ozymandias is a logical one for me, really don't see anyone else fitting in...
Scene at that burger place was fantastic, I enjoyed the issue and I hope after this arc I won't have mixed opinion on King's Batman.
This was a fantastic issue, great social commentary, really complex, you can see it was not written just to please one side or the other, it's not black and white story, it has lots of grey....
I think after this arc is finished Batman won't be mixed any more, it will be good or bad. Looks promising to be honest.
